  • I have 2 bantams and they constantly crow all the time but one is very tamed. My parent they butch it and I still cry!

  • Lovely Rooster

  • @bbqbeers Thanks!!

  • @HTCSWEOD my land lord also had one. this one reminds me of him and i started to cry because he died about 4 or 5 months ago.

  • probably a country standard difference.

  • @jessi330 you're probably right about that... even judges don't agree at times...

  • Such s beautiful rooster...truly amazing colors

  • "Ukkelse Baardkriellen" are a junction of 'Antwerpse Baardkrielen' and 'Sabelpoot krielen' not? I think so, it could be wrong...

    Nice video!

  • What a cute and pretty rooster!

  • Thanks for commenting, glad you like him!

  • Np =)

  • Hes a very nice Roo.

  • Thank you, I'm very glad you enjoyed the video and now have a collection of your own to care for. I wish you the very best of luck with your birds (">

  • Very, very beautiful.

My favorite breed. I don't have one, though.. :(

    (Yet. Hee hee.)

  • Wow... if you like them, you should have a few... very easy to care for... hope you have some soon!

  • Haha. I have 4 chickens right now in my backyard already and my mom says I can't get anymore.. :( Haha.

  • Nice Bird

  • Very friendly chickens. Mine are very talkative. My mom thinks they sound like children chattering.

  • I like bantams with "big" personalities, are the d'Uccles like that?

  • If you want BIG personalities.. I would recommend the Old English Game Bantams... spry, perky and full of themselves... great pets!

  • I"m getting a pair of these on the weekend. Their really pretty birds!

  • YOU are going to love those chickens! thanks for commenting

  • I got a rooster and two hens yesterday, they are really tame and gentle. I love them already!

  • Congratulations to you! I know they have come to a very good owner!

  • Where can I get one of those milles?

  • Hi Macballa...

    These booted bantams are pretty widely available? I breed them here, but you are sure to find them near where you live. the breed you are looking for is the Bearded Belgian d'Uccle... the color here is Mille Fleur... you can purchase day old chicks through the mail also... check out MurrayMcMurray Hatchery... tell them Fred's Fine Fowl sent you! Or you can call 1-800-720-1134 and order the Bearded Mille Fleur D'uccle straight away.. Say hey from Fred :}

  • I got a blue mille fluer hen, but I thought she was a silkie, (I was not a very good chicken owner then XD) so I named her Silky. Where do you think I got my username from? ^^

  • i just got a mille fleur belgian d'uccle, and i named him Pierre!!!

  • ahaha really !!

i have a little Belgium bantam rooster (not Mille Fleur) called Pierre also.

  • He looks like mY Leon!!!!!! Spitten image. Well, he may be a bit bigger. Leon would like to think he's bigger. He thinks he's the biggest rooster in the universe. I'll reply with a vid of Leon pouncing me.

  • super!

  • Hi, do the Batam Roosters crow like a regular Rooster would? I was waiting on yours to crow but I guess not. Very beautiful Rooster!

  • Hi, I'm glad you asked that particular question... yes, all roosters crow and the pitch (high/low) is directly related to the physical size of the rooster. So, small roosters have high pitched crows and they don't carry as far as large roosters do. Thanks for your comment!

  • Ive a Belgain mille fleur hen !!!

  • it's like he's posing XD

my little blue d'uccle hen does this too

  • True, they are very friendly and easy to photograph! Thanks for your comment.

  • My what a handsome fellow...at least he thinks so!

I have 2 little Japanese mottled sitting in my lap as I type this and life is bliss! Keep up the good work and long live the chicken!

  • Thank you so much for your wonderful comments!

  • D'Uccle's are impressive birds. I prefer the clean legged breeds since they are easier to manage. Check out the varieties of Wyandotte bantams. They are friendly little birds.

  • Thanks for posting.... yes, with more than 66 breeds and hundreds of types out there... there is bound to be a chicken for everyone!
