  • That blew me away!

  • wow, yeah, I had to see it again! cant wait for her wristbandless showcases next week at sxsw!

  • made me cry... in a good way. Go Ruby Jane. America. Fuck yeah!

  • cant wait to see her at SXSW!!!!!!

  • By the way Ruby's new CD is also available from Amazon in MP3 format.

  • So really good. I tried to see it on espn but they didn't show this. I'm seeing her at Gruene in April, and also hopefully at the Kessler show.

  • We've missed you the last few Gruene shows, Elco, wait till you her Ruby's new CD. It's SUPER good.

  • @artsevere

Will be there on the 18th. I made Momo last Sat.,then came up to Bedford to see the family.I'm there now. I haven't ever seen Blues Mafia so was wanting to see them and Belleville also. Phoebe played with Dustin Welch after but I was tired and didn't stay to long at that. Talked to Sasha Rtiz a couple of minutes. A real nice girl. She sang with Belleville the I got my mojo working song. I'll get that video loaded soon. See ya'll in a couple of weeks.

  • WOW! As wordy as I usually am I can't think of any thing else to say--I'm speechless.

  • I bet that upset some of the traditionalists, but it was a great performance and obviously appreciated by the crowd!

  • Hey, CB749, we exchanged pleasantries last summer and you said you hoped to catch Ruby in person sometime in the fall, did you ever get to? Since I live in Austin I get to see her several times a month (including last Sunday at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels). Ruby's band is opening for Ray Price at Gruene Hall on March 5, 2010.

  • Sadly, no, but I'm heading for Austin again in July, so maybe I'll be able to catch up with her this year. Going to take in Nashville this time round!!

  • Ruby has a new CD just out, "Live At Roadhouse Rags" (RJ wrote 8 of the 10 songs on it) that is SPECTACULAR! Right now her Mom is selling it at shows (I bought one Sunday at Gruene), hopefully it will be available on CD Baby or one of those sites soon. Of course, Ruby in person is even MORE spectacular.

  • way to go Ruby Jane...

  • She's wonderful alright.

  • Who won?

  • Kentucky won 81-75 in overtime. Ruby is (now) from my home town of Austin, Texas (she formerly lived in Columbus, Mississippi), she's a spectacular fiddle player/singer/songwriter/mandolin player/guitarist, you name it. Super nice sweet young lady as well.

  • omg..this girl is gonna be a huge star!!!!

  • This young lady is so talented.

  • Daaaang!! Love this!
