A good example of OBE is an the movie Avatar, he goes into that machine and switches consciousness from himself in the wheelchair to a Tall Blue Alien like being, its quite amazing, and Rich good work man im going to try to remember OBE's while i am sleeping...Thank You.

I have never experienced an obe from a fully waking state, and for the last few months I wouldnt say there had been anything new. so I am ready to try anything that'll help me find that next step to take my spirituality to a higher level

Isn't this essentially using our imagination? I thought that using your imagination was bad for inducing obes? Doesn't imagination bring you more into thought?

Do you recommend any books that have helped you in understanding things like OBE, vivid imagery..anything related to this topic? I've been practicing OBE's for months and Im still at beginning stages of it. Pisses me off that I can't do it. But I keep trying ~_~

@fizwizx - Robert Monroe's Journeys Out of Body was the one that did it for me. And his hemi-sych audio series helped too - used to be you could order separately the audio entitles "Resonant Tuning". I bought the 'First Wave' of the "Gateway Series' it did the trick for me.

@Rich2150x - Awesome! I still have the tapes I bought over 25 years ago - and they still work! What's good abt resonant tuning is that it gets you int Alpha, and it causes you to breathe deep and causes you to 'hum' or chant, the right tones for tuning into the rigth resonance - its' vibration work _ just doesn't say that on the label!

Awesome! Right on the spot I think. A lot of the things you say from your experience and perspective identify a lot with what Thomas Campbell teaches and his model of reality. If you haven't done so and you'd like to it's definitely work checking out, it can be basically be defined as the science of consciousness, the science of all that is. Pretty neat.

Oh and I simply loved the way you did this video, gives it a lot of "color", pretty inspiring. :)

there is also the possibility/ability to detect the nearest conciusnes from where you are it is very interesting to go in places (other peoples realms)

and of course if your a little confuse by just thinking about you can instantly transfer from the place you are(your realm) in a real realm (a place what has been there for ever, like a dimension) a meeting spot for everyone.(there you can learn from the advance ones) if you don't go real realm, you just travel in other dead peoples realms....
