4 dislikes could either be 4 biological females that are haters/jealous. or 4 transphobic straight guys that are turned on, but don't/won't admit it.........lol. i need to buy this movie again. i let someone borrow it, but can't remember who, and i didn't get it back. one of the reasons why i like this movie is because the guy that ends up messing with her is straight and he didn't care anymore after awhile and still felt comfortable with his sexuality/manhood.

I had no idea Calpernia was played by the guy who did Pushing Daisies (a show tht never got a fair chance..he was great in tht too) I loved this movie and I had to IMDB the actor's because of how intense the love scenes were I needed to know if they were str8 and was Lee a man or really transgendered..this made me appreciate them both more as actors

I watched this movie for one of my college classes last year. I thought Lee did an amazing job! Though I personally think changing ones gender is wrong, I respect the choice these people made. They are very courageous. Lee did such a good job and he seemed to respect the role and give it his all. He deserves every award he got for this movie.

You think it is wrong? You must be one of those people who were lucky enough to be born the way you feel you were meant to be. For trans people it isn't like that. Guess what else, those who fight it and don't follow through on it cannot handle being trapped in the wrong body and usually kill themselves.  Its not a wrong thing.

It is your opinion yes but you must realize that "God's Will" may in fact be in heaven but in this plane we were promised free will and God cannot go back on his promise. This means mistakes of nature happen all the time such as people being born in the wrong body. We all start out female in the womb. You have to realize that trans men and women go through alot just to be who they are and people like you make it worse.

I didn't say you were not entitled to your opinion. I'm saying that if you believe in god you should know he made this world but he can't change the things that go on here because of free will thus someone can be born under the wrong conditions. If you go by the logic that God doesn't make mistakes you must also believe he exists in all timelines which means he knows the choice you make ahead of time which means free will doesn't truly exist and he made certain people for hell.

I do believe He exists in all timelines and yes He knows all the choices that lay before you, but it is your choice alone what path to take it is not predestined. God does not intervene unless we ask Him too, and even then He advices and does not command. He created us in His image but it was our choice to change.He made us all for Heaven, but it is by our sin we go to hell

Just because God is Omniscient doesn't mean free will doesn't exist. it means that God knows the paths before us but allows us to choose which one to take. He doesn't make us go down a certain path. I believe in Heaven and Hell, I'm a Christian and I don't have a religion. I have a relationship with Jesus Christ and it has made all the difference in my life. it has given me hope and love toward this world.

I don't condemn people to hell, I am no better then them. I've sinned so I would go to hell. But I have accepted Jesus's sacrifice, He saved my soul, and He can save everyone's if they ask Him too.

the books of the bible were written over hundreds of years and yet are completely cohesive. and not everyone had access to the books of the bible yet the books fit together perfectly. and if one of the passages we both quoted were to be false which one would you prefer it to be: the one that says woe to the hypocrites for you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven or the passage that says everyone has sinned but as an equal chance to enter Heaven?
