Sorry to break it to you, Dani, but by DEFINITION (if you put much stock into the whole language thing) you do not have a wife; you have a domestic partner. Here is the DEFINITION of a wife:
wife -- noun, plural wives; verb, wifed, wif·ing.
--noun 1. a woman joined in marriage to a man; a woman considered in relation to her husband.

Haha, how can I attack her with definitions? Can I bash her over the head with them? I'm merely stating EXACTLY what a wife is, and it doesn't mean what she thinks it does. If you don't like the English language then perhaps you should find yourself another one. Until then, it just makes sense to abide by the meaning of words. Imagine trying to communicate with one another when every other word means something different to each of us. ;)
