Sometimes I think this is what Mozart and Beethoven would be doing if they had lived in our times. Every single note is just right, no matter in which project of Arjen's.
As with more works of Arjen's, I appreciate his music more after a couple of listens. This music is applicable for helping depressed people out of their state of mind :-)
@MaximusSkywlaker Not for me - I listen to the lyrics, makes me reflect upon my own personal development and my life, as well as feel the (family) bonds I have and used to have.
Awesome, this release is full of all kind of languages, seems to have all European languages inside :-) I hope the original cd / dvd does have translations... I gonna buy this for sure
Reading the interview with Arjen, he has been touring for 15 years but prefers to be at home toying with his synthesizers and being creative. So the potential is there for sure (because of the artists involved) - just don't expect it to happen. Will be superb when it DOES, then!
@juanviperea technically the rest are guest musicians and its just arjen lucassen and ed warby, and if they ever did go on the road they wouldn't need 8 keyboard players 10 guitarists and so on, point is theyd cut down to 1 or 2 for each instrument and a few singers like they do at release partys and other such occasions
So many projects he has done, each and every one of them, just as amazing as it's brothers and sisters.

@Connomb11 As the first thing on the album it really caught my eye (whoops, I meant ear) because I'm Dutch myself.
Is there any place on the net at all that lists all the clips in the original language and with the translation? I'm pretty curious.

@Connomb11 "Am I guilty by default?" is a better translation. Or: "Am I guilty by living?" :-)
Still a damn beautiful album...

This album has a huge influence regarding the sound of 01011001 - which I love! But then more mellow with Pink Floyd influences... awesome :-)

@booyakaburger but Ayreon itself would never tour cause its made up of like 367 different artists

The chorus reminds me of 'For Absent Friends' by Genesis. Wonderful.

@sunlinestudio : Według mnie leci to tak: "Nasze życie ma znaczenie tylko wtedy gdy kochamy. Nieważne kogo, nieważne co" :P

first line:
Am I guilty to live?
666lupl666 2 years ago
3.23 is:
Our life has meaning only when we love. Doesn't matter who. Doesn't matter what.

If anybody wants to know, the German part beginning at 0:25 means something like:
"If you look into the mirror long enough, you look into the eyes of the devil"
