If you read back at these comments, I asked the same question and there and someone gave instructions on how to obtain a copy (I can't remember how I did it now as it was so long ago). How fast can the MF8690 go?  I know that the Valtra 370 S can go about 35 MPH, the Fendt 939 Vario can go 40 MPH and the JCB Fastrac 8250 can go over 50 MPH in top gear. A fast tractor is essential especially for farmers who must travel long distances from farm to farm on the road. Also Fendt and JCB Fastrac are the 'Rolls Royces' of tractors while Valtra is the 'Cadillac' and Massey Ferguson is the 'Buick' of tractors in terms of advanced technology and features.

I remember when Massy came out with the 2805 series tractors in the 80's. They were a hunk of junk. Not as good as their 1155 series prior to that. MF today is owned by AGCO.

Put this Tractor to work ! Geeez a 370 hp tractor doing a job a 120 hp one shoot we've pulled a 8 bottom plow with a 2705 (with duals)and a 36' cultivator as well.Seems a bit of a joke on the work they have this high hp tractor doing in the video.Doesn't look to impressive to me.You've got to work it man!

How many times can you show the headlights and the hood in three minutes? How about showing us what's UNDER the hood. How about zooming out so we can see the whole control panel, instead of 3-5 switches at a time? How about showing us the three point and the hydraulics? Give us a look at the front weight attachment - looks like it's hydraulic. Is that a full three point on the front? Nice tractor, lousy video - probably produced by someone who's never actually USED a tractor! LOL.

i have driven most tractors around with few exceptions but got to say out of the four major producers of agriculture tractors john deere is over rated case is a nice driving tractor new holland its alright agco finally got a good line of equipment coming out having the challenger line up for big power and using two mayor smaller tractor lines like massey and fendt is a very good move

Nice tractor, but keep it in Europe...... We farm in the Northern Terrtory, Australia and Tractors like Fednt, Massey,Deutz just dont work........... Tend to over heat due to extreme conditions, combination of high air hummidity and dust... we run Deer's and case..... :)

A very nice 'conventional' tractor for a small or mid-sized farm or ranch. However, MF and all other tractor manufacturers need to build far, far bigger tractors (much bigger than the Big Bud 747 and the Big Roy) and their matching implements to handle the increasing demands of today's and tomorrow's biggest farms and ranches. As farms and ranches get bigger, so should the tractors and implements.

I occaisonally drive an old Massey 3690 Datatronic with Dyna shift at work on an airfield using a Spearhead 620 Topper, as an additional part of my job, this tractor is also used for snow clearing operations, its never broke down yet while in use, (may wish I never said that) however a friend of mine who has had 2 Joun Deere's has had nothing but trouble with them, ECU's Fuelling problems etc.

Therefore I'm sold on a Massey!

I also have my own tractor at home a humble International 276!
