I think you should sell the PowerBook, as it is a sitting pile of money. I mean, you could get at least 400-500 for it on eBay, and use the money to buy some good accessories or other goodies, while freeing up the Desk. The iMac G4 is a gem of the apple company, and as much as I would hate to sell one, you could get some BIG bucks for it on ebay. I also think you should maybe get rid of some of the stuff on your desk, like all the iPods. But I loved the vid, and I am getting a MBP very

junk junk junk junk, Maybe you should sell all that and buy a powerfull good computer instead. Techonolgy is designed to be replaced after a while. You have money just growing dust. All Obsolete, You will get the benefit of more space on your desk and a faster and better device. If you are into macs buy a Mac Pro workstation

@dansantoyo When I was medically retired from the British Army, I was trained as a Microsoft Certified System Engineer which is pretty high on the PC spectrum, I also completed an HNC in Computer Programming. So I have not entered in Apple without the knowledge of PC's and their OS. I'm not going to get into the Mac vs PC thing here but for me Mac's work better just like for you, your OS of choice is better. I would love a MAc Pro but I don't think I would use it to it's full potential.

I wanted to see what it was going to produce before buying say a Flip HD. I would love a real top quality DSLR Camera and will hopefully get one soon, but you are so right all this other stuff and no HD camera, I promise it will be here soon. Thanks for the feedback

Good luck with the Mac 101 course, I want to do that myself and be a Mac technition (may need to do PC and Mac though) once I get the money to get myself started.
