lets settle this score right quick. it was written and recorded a while ago, his voice doesn't sound like that (it sounds a hella lot like you had me at hello) therefore recorded well before homesick. plus when they recorded homesick they were behind schedule so they were in a RUSH to get it done they didn't have time to record extra songs.

I take McKinnon's word for it when he said it's not, because it really doesn't seem like an "ADTR" song. I don't see why it's so hard to believe him when he says he didn't want it leaked out. If it really wasn't written with the songs on homesick then it was never going to be on the album. It's obvious that it has been recorded recently, no one is saying it wasn't, but there's no real way of telling when it was written except if you believe the guy who wrote the song or not.
