@sweetcinderelly That must be so tough. I know with Follin her communication issues can be difficult because she gets frustrated quickly...does your little one do the same? I'm here if ever you need any support!
I am very impressed that you are making the whole family bi-lingual, & that you, as a hearing person, are actually aware that many Deaf people consider their difference to be cultural and not a disability. It is so good to see a family like yours who wants to make your little one feel less "different", as opposed to the way that most hearing people with with Deaf/HOH kids deal with it by *not* learning sign language & automatically turning to cochlear implants to try to "fix" the "broken child".

You're so right about most people trying to "fix" or "cover up" what makes their child different...thank you for the encouragement! : )
