davis, how do I count the ways, "we encourage Georgia to attack Russia". "get used to being spied on etc." That is just two lies but the content and your whole interpetation is a LIE. You are a paranoid leftest. Although I am not sure that you believe anything you say. YOU are an ACTOR. You make stuff up all the time. You use a "stage name". "The further the situation unfolds, the more the world will understand that Georgia would never be able to do all this without America," said Vasilyev. If you haven't already read Naomi Klein's book "The Shock Doctrine" then you really should. It talks about China's transition into capitalism quite extensively, and Klein is (allegedly) good friends with Naomi Wolf.

I think both countries are at the wrong here.
Georgia made a very stupid move in trying to take back an area controlled by one of the strongest countries in the world; but Russia shouldn't have been so harsh by pounding the pulp out of them!

you probably don´t know that georgian villages were bombed and talks with the russian backed militia didn´t work out. They were practically provoked into this move and then the trap snapped... one russian army was doing "training exercises" at the georgain border at the time and mere hours after they moved in, started the war as we see now.
