TheBserk guy has a much simpler design if you guys are trying to make a hidden blade. Just follow his tutorial, it works the same way this one does but he uses only the slide, screws, nuts & a spring.

Hey just wondering would it be possible to rig a lock/release mech on it (say attached to your thumb that would prevent it from being open by gravity/movement accidentally till you u pulled with ur thumb (or perhaps extending of the pinky so u can u lock with pinky extend and close with pinky closing)

Finally someone did the blade right, only issue I have with this is the main section needs to be smaller, and make the extention peices into a double slider, make the thrust into a wrist twitch AND thrust, and that's about it.
