  • Enjoyed the review. I model N-scale but enjoy all aspects of the hobby. The internet and Youtube have been great resources on the hobby. I have seen videos of many layouts that I would have never been able to see. I appreiate the Youtubers that are here to help others. There is no place to haters here. I have seen the commments made by BNSFNSsuperfan on other channels just think its uncalled for.

  • This is my first time responding to a video, I just started an acount. bigdoghawk obviously didn't listen to the video stand up for what you know is right way to go man! anywayz do you plan on getting any of the athearn genesis sd70ace up heritage units?

  • @bearcatftball61

haha thats right. There is some interesting talk going on right now about the true identity of nsbnsfsuperfan, unfortunately it is looking like it is actually a well known and well respected modeler.

As for athearns, I don't think i plan to. I have had bad experiences with athearn and I do not plan to really get any more athearns, I'm tired of wasting money and time. They do have extreme potential, and they are modeled perfectly! But their quality issues are holding me back.

  • @modeltrain9500 No, NSmodeler24 talked with me letting me know that NSBNSFsuperfan was taking his account or making it seem like it was him. It wasn't. Sorry for that. KEEP IGNORING NSBNSFsuperfan. I did just report him on YouTube.

  • @AMH9217

yea, like i suspected it was just nsbnsfsuperfan getting a little smarter. NSmodeler24 is still the respected modeler he always has been

  • this is the connor1122 and i have a kansas city southern and it has metal hand bars and it looks so real and i have never had a problem with it

  • i got a CN ES40DC i love it but i think im going to trade it for the Rio Grande ES44AC locomotive.

  • I think it's a sound made by the air compressor.

  • I will put up videos of my bnsf sd70ace when it gets back from the shop! Lol, I feel like you when yours broke! Did you get it fixed?

  • good video, dont let the stupid haters get to you... hater gonna hate, it wont ever stop. i just ignore the haters

  • @flashperson

yea they don't get to me, i don't really mind it much; they make themselves look pretty dumb. However, I was just throwing in my two bits on everything.

    Thanks for supporting

  • @modeltrain9500 no problem keep up the good work

  • Hola!

  • @sawman3333

    Hola!

  • why would you want them flashing together? idiot...

  • @bigdogHAWK

    what is your problem?

  • SO YOU WATCH JLWII2000's review and basically COPY him? So lame...

  • @bigdogHAWK

I'm sorry? look, this is a follow up to a few things that i didn't mention and had since corrected in my first review. If you would think before commenting, you might realize that I had another review up already, and before JLWII2000. There were a few things i didn't know and didn't cover, and i fixed that in this video. I respect JLWII2000 as a great modeler and this was in no way meant as a copy. this video was half about you, idiots who just don't think.

  • Well said! Good videoman!

  • If you want them to ossilate hook them up to 2 different functions

  • @modeltrain9500, will do!

  • Great review! I totally agree with you, we all need to get along no matter what scale we model. I enjoy your videos a lot! Keep them coming!

  • @aocruiser

    thanks for the kind words!

  • @modeltrain9500, that's fine. Could you try driving the gp38 around or a locomotive that can take that radius while the gevos are running on the bottom?

  • @sawman3333

now that i may be able to do, check back for my next video

  • Could you make a video of train on the lower track drive up the ramp onto the elevated track on the layout you used in this vid, and also show it driving around the top level for a little. Thanks! Thumbs up!

  • @sawman3333

i will be making a running video of my two GEVOs sometime soon. unfortunately the top rail is a small radius and the larger gevo locomotives will not run on it right. sorry about that, although i can show it rolling up the ramp a little bit. Ill see what i can do.

    Thanks!

  • I may have missed it does it have the whooop sound ? Thanks for your excellent review I ordered 3 of the Norfolk Southern in 4/10 now i'm o.k. with my decision. I also ordered from Ulrich !! Great customer service !!

  • @gwheath220

they are great models! What do you mean byt the whoooop sound? the norfolk southern units are GREAT! I will probably get another one next run, and i might pick up a BNSF from this run. Ulrich is the definition of customer service

  • totally agree with you! and its really sad and shocking to hear about Alexander!

  • @mitulparekh2003

    it is

  • a lot of times i find myself waiting and refreshing hoping for another awesome video by someone in the hobby and i believe its up to the creator on how and how long to make the video and any negativity should be kept out!.... enough said ill shut up now and modeltrain9500 keep up the awesome videos man!!!!

  • @MrLocomechanic

thanks for the support! much appreciated

  • well said man these people that act like that need to go somewhere and be delt with. model railroading is the worlds greatest hobby and has no room for haters and trash talkers and as far as the length on videos, my opinion and this is just an opinion is that they arent long enough! haha i enjoy each and every single persons videos on there layouts, dcc conversions, and reviews i learn so much and find enjoyment in watching them all.

  • I don't why you care if some jerk is dissing you on another channel.

  • @MMODoubter

like i said in the video, i dont care about me being dissed, its the dissing of just everyone going on, its all unnecessary. I tried to make it clear that im not upset about me being hated on. this is more an awareness thing

  • That's 100% right don't watch or fast forward. Some people just always have something to say or think there better or smarter than the next person. Keep up the good work.

  • @greggieb74

Thank you!, you understand! again, thanks for the support

  • Nice NS ES40DC! I want one soo bad!

I completely agree with everything you said

  • @Sabres21Buffalo

Thanks, its nice to know that im not the only one here. These intermountains are really nice, if you get the chance see if you can get one. Even if it doesnt have sound, they are nice!

  • @modeltrain9500 Yeah i just have to save up for one. Aren't they almost $200?

  • @Sabres21Buffalo

yea, the non sound models are 130 dollars and the sound models are about 220

  • @modeltrain9500 the $130 one is about in my price range. Maybe i can get one for $100

  • @Sabres21Buffalo

well right now its going to be hard to find one for 100 dollars, but you can try. The MSRP is 179.99, some stores are selling for 135 at the lowest. Maybe you can pick up a used one or something, although i would try to come up with the extra 30 bucks to get a guaranteed locomotive.

  • @modeltrain9500 Yeah well there's a train show coming up in Hamburg NY so hopefully there will be one there for me

  • My view on this negative thing is if you want to be negative just keep it to yourself and only comment when you want to be positive or want to make suggestions. Great looking Gevo by the way.

  • @HODiver

    exactly, thanks!

  • Unfortunately it seems to be easier for some people to be negative rather than positive.

  • @gyrusse

that is very true. Ive done this very thing, and later I realize its really just a waste. If people could respect other people that would be great. A suggestion is okay, but just downright negativity isnt

  • that guy is MR

  • @AIRSOFTTANK1

im hoping this is a good thing?

  • @modeltrain9500 mentally retarted srry for speling iam half asleep

  • es40dc just means 4000 horse power instead of 4400

  • @Conrailfan1999

right, norfolk southern underclocks the motors because for the types of routes and running they do, its more efficient to use the lower horsepower. The point is that intermountain marketed the locomotive as the es44dc, but on the norfolk southern model it says es40dc, as it should

  • You are right about the hating having to stop.

  • @MichaelB450

    yeah, its unfortunate

  • @modeltrain9500

some people are just stuuuupid. They do what takes less effort and thats is to bitch about stuff that, like you said, doesn't NEED to be bitched about. I guess that dragging a slider was too much work for him -_-

  • @modeltrain9500 Agreed.
