  • they couldnt have found a better person to play eddie michael rocks

  • EDDIE LIVES!

  • "WORDS N MUSIC" WE LOVE YOU EDDIE ALWAYS!! ;)

  • Man,it would have been great if Eddie and the Cruisers were a real band. They can blow anyone away. With all the garbage that's being played today, as they say in the movie,

" Get rid of the losers and bring back the Cruisers. "

  • @writer125 Actually there was a band called Eddie and the cruisers they were the ones that brought rock 'N' Roll to the screen and to where it is today.

  • @writer125 true dat

  • The voice fits his looks perfectly. Great movie.

  • Before there was Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, before there was Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, there was Eddie and the Cruisers. Incredible music and film. Loved it.

  • what is the deal with the cigarettes in every shot lol? Looks like trailer park trash.

  • Michael Pare fitted this character perfectly and so does John Cafferty's voice, Michael did a damn good job lip syncing. I remember when I was little I thought he sang it lol, I also loved him in Streets Of Fire!!!! One of my all time fave movies and soundtracks!

  • This is a man who i think should have been a huge star,in the movies,I certainly loved him in the Eddie and the Cruisers-and i don't think they could have picked a better guy,he has charisma. I like him in the Greatest American Hero but i wish yet for him to be on the screen more,or television. Go gettem Michael.

  • bring then bk in a movie so music will b bk on the top we love them

  • best band of this movie i have ever heatrd love the movie , but the music was excellent thk u yr grtttttttttttttttttttt

  • John is up there with Springsteen, Seger... bar none.

  • Cafferty's voice and style was a perfect match for michael Pare's look

  • i wish this music was just now coming out....

  • I had glass paks and they roar at the drive-in...

  • Too bad this song was not out back in my "cruising" days - would have been a great "cruising song!

  • Great movie and an awesome soundtrack!

  • wicked bitchin tune Man! far out!

and with all the hip hop slackers who have no talent what so ever. down with all the slackers. It is time for a music revolution...any one with me?

  • @36bluesman I'm right with you. I'm a musician and I hope to help with that. Let's get back to rock and roll.

  • Todays music SUCKS!

  • @plymot I Agree 1000000000%

  • My Mom loved her some Eddie Wilson in the 80's...

  • I try to make music like this. This is real Rock and Roll. I'm very much inflenced by this sound. I hope to help bring this sound back.

  • this music brings you back to the good times you had no doubt

  • The movie was very good, but this soundtrack was one of the most consistently good albums from the 80's that I remember. The songs are all still great.

  • can u make this with lyrics on screen

  • Looks like 4 people have no taste in music!

  • @kooledude2008 : yes! omgosh, the Brown Beaver Band. My father would kill me about now for that one! lol thank you

  • i loved this movie it was so good i wish they made and still have music today

  • fuck the people that dislikes

  • I was born in '77 and remember when this movie came out and the sequel. I watched it over and over again (as I have autism!). Great movie. And I learned about John C. and the Silver Bullet Band who does the actual singing for the soundtrack. That led me to more great music. Nothing beats a good song!

  • @heatherbabes3207 The Beaver Brown Band , not Silver Bullet Band ,

  • I love this song. This is great rock and roll. Great lyrics. Great vocals. Great song. Love it. I'm a musician. I want to make music like this.

  • This was a great, fun movie. Before there was Bruce & The E Street Band, before there was Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, there was Eddie & The Cruisers. Great music and movie.

  • Michael Pare is getting some movie work; he was just in The Lincoln Lawyer. I hope he gets some bigger roles because.....................he's the man!

  • too bad john cafferty didnt look like Michael Pare, he would been a huge star

  • its great music and when i got the movie i kept on watching it i just couldnt stop

  • GREAT VIDEO:-) Thanks for putting this up!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE BOTH EDDIE AND THE CRUISER MOVIES

  • Eddie and the Cruisers is an all-time epic. My favorite movies "Eddie and the Cruisers I & II" My favorite band " John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band"" I LOVE these movies. I never get tired if the movies or the music. You are right, they don't make them like this anymore. Number 1 Cruiser fan of all time.

  • ....amazing how much Cafferty sounded like Springsteen.

  • @ReeseMac cafferty wrote better songs

  • @dimebuckerpickups Do you mean he wrote better songs than Bruce or better songs than Wild Summer Nights

  • @ReeseMac better then bruce

  • Eddie And The Cruisers. Amazing movie. Everytime I hear this song, I know its not the Crusiers but thats who I envision singin it. Classic movie.

  • omfg! they aren't real? :(

  • best group ever... i wish i could have seen them live :(

  • @JennyTheWeirdo the cruisers were not real only in the movie... the real band is john cafferty and beaver brown band

  • @pipewrenchninja i know i was just talking about the movie i didnt mean it in literal terms.

  • reall rock

  • reall rock

  • I have seen this movie upteen times. It brings me back to my teen years when we used to drive to Beaudette, on weekends, to listen to great music, and the legal drinking age was 18 yrs. old. What a magical time that was.

  • i want to know the movie were he was naked...the one which has a scene making love before leaving for a mission something like that or any movie,i just forgot the title...i love him...

  • God this brings back some wicked memories, getting goose bumps now> How good were those wild summer nites!

  • damn the dude playin eddie n the movie was damn fine

  • gorgeous

  • Captures NJ sound. A classic, if not now, soon. Michael Pare--what can one say about an A star who gets stuck in B - dom. Studio execs are stupid. This guy could have been akin to Clark Gable. And here he is in all these B movies -- which I watch anyway 'cause I think he's got some kind of charisma. This guy should've been a STAR!

  • @Larrycat7 Couldn't have said this any better myself : )

  • What happened to the good ole days?? Wish I could turn back the hands of time....

  • It is a shame that John Cafferty couldn't leave the stigma of Eddie and the Cruisers behind them. They were/are terribly talented and so very original. I agree with everyone who says they just can't find music like this anymore. I for one mourn the era of fun and good music!!!!

  • this music takes you to a place no other music does..i love Eddie and the Crusiers!! i always wished growing up they were a real band..i never get sick of watching this movie..its my fav!! a classic like no other....great era and eddie ahhh adorable

  • this beautiful boy....

    I´m from Mexico Queretaro city....

    I love John Cafferty...

  • Nuthin but Love...........

  • Those wild summer nights...if only we could relive them!

  • @tbout1212

agree totally, times were different, had a lot of fun, raised a lot of hell, and Never hurt anyone but ourselves. The "Jersey Shore" and the "Tony mart' bar were found in so many areas along the east coast. Great house bands and in the summer really kicked ass. Oh, to go back!!!

  • Eddie Wilson (and the Cruisers) are fictional... But John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band (the singer/band that did all the songs for Eddie and the Cruisers 1 and 2) are a real band... And, yes, they are quite talented.

  • @Clawpride85 o man i thought the cruisers were real

  • great movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 and 2

  • I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee "Eddie and the Cruisers"

  • no one makes great music like this anymore.

  • @workwatcher13 oh there is, i've seen some

  • @workwatcher13 i couldnt agree more

  • i gotta tell ya i like bruce springsteen but this stuff IS WAY BETTER :D

  • del 76 y su musica la escuche en los ochentas y ha sido de los pocos artistas en ingles que me han gustado el fue the best

  • nowhere like jersey

joeymo from tony marts wildwood days

  • Wheeljack35 well ya your right

  • This Band puts Springsteen to Shame! Great Tallent here!!

  • That is a near impossibility to put Springsteen to shame

  • @chaosband I agree. I am a bruce springsteen fan but I really like this style better.

  • @chaosband Springsteen has nothing on John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band.

  • @chaosband John Gafferty and The Beaver Brown Band were as good as Springsteen and The E Street Band when Springsteen was at his early peak in 1975 with "Born To Run." But this soundtrack beats the crap out of anything Springsteen released in the '80s!

  • So damn good looking!!! grrrrrr.... I hated that he played a jerk in Hope Floats. haha....

  • ****drools*** lmfao! hot hot!.

  • Wow, John Cafferty sounds just like a younger bruce springsteen, think he fashioned his sound after him? well there is only one boss, maybe that is why cafferty didnt do a whole lot.

  • i actually like cafferty better than sprinsteen, he more edgey than bruce and has that certain mystic of an underground rocker.

  • micheal pare played eddie, he looked like eddie to the teeth

  • jason75 you do realize the Eddie Wilson is a fictional character?

  • good song and a real good movie as well....i am gonna have to buy it

  • They sell the 1st and 2nd movies together now ;)

  • @BelAirBritt So glad I read your note!

  • @BelAirBritt yeah u can get them at best buys i see all the tyme out here n my home town vegas

  • @cruehead355 i so agree

  • photos of Michael Pare the actor while Jeff Cafferty sings- lotsa arguments started over the confusion- but all agree-love the songs/singing/singer

  • I have the original indy release backed by Tender years. The first time I ever heard it was on the Jukebox at the Wreck in Misquamicut.

  • I used to listen to them play a couple nights a week in the 70's at the Beachcomber in RI, it was free then, but the line to get in would be wrapped around the corner. Great dance music

  • THIS was cousin's movie i saw it before it was in the movies.

  • John Cafferty wrote a great song here,I play it at least once a day while trucking around the country....

  • I used to hang at Tony Mart's were this movie was filmed. Great place long gone condos now. Ahh, but the memories of wild summer nights.

  • Sixth title of the soundtrack of "Eddie and the Cruisers"...Memories...

  • Great shots of Pare` Yes, its the man we gals love!!!! Don't care if he could sing a note but he sure looks REAL singing Cafferty.!!!

  • HOT HOT HOT

Especially loved the screenshots from the movie!!

  • great song' great movie' great memories of great times.

  • this is a great song. (= I loved the movie.

  • love the movie eddie and the cruser !! songs r awesome

  • Geez,

Guys DON'T EVEN HAVE THAT KIND OF HAIR STYLE ANYMORE!....LOL

  • Honey He doesn't have to open his mouth. It don't matter if he don't sing.. LOOK AT THE MAN>

  • Eddie is hot, John Cafferty's voice is hot too lol

  • Eddie Crusiers gr8 fiction. Real musicians are John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band.

  • i love this dis song

  • Kickass song!

Beaver Brown band´s a cool band!

  • michael pare sexy...................

  • he has no singing voice, your hearing John cafferty, don't know what MP did before becoming an actor, but it wasn't vocals,he is a pretty decent actor thou

  • great song I love the 80s

  • this is one of my aw time favorite songs of the 80s

  • i love you eddie you are so dam hot

i love your voice your looks your personality and everything about you you are my dream boy

  • i hate to tell you but your dream boy lip sings to John cafferty and the beaver brown band... Michael pierre (spe;;ing)... doesn't actualy play or sing

  • I fancied this actor when I was 16 and saw him in "The Philadelphia experiment"

Could anyone tell me where I can get this movie? Thanks so much.

  • I own it on dvd actually. But I bought it off ebay and its totally a bootleg. It says "strat movie" instead if "start" for instance. lol

  • Thank you very much. Saludos desde Argentina!!

  • I have videos of both Eddie and the Cruisers films; they certainly are out there, but I don't know of any suppliers (I got mine second-hand)

  • Thank you so much. I think if I want these videos I'd have to buy them through the Internet as they're not avalible in Argentina.

  • @anjulirobin try amazon if not try best buy online. they usually have alot of the oldies.

this is where i get my oldies.

  • Eddie Eddie

  • zulutda rent it!!

  • this songis so fucking cool like its awesome

    liek 100 oragazims

  • Well I have HBO and and cant watch b/c it is not on HBO demand and is nvr on regular programming. I dun know about the 'kids' going crazy over rock and roll but w/e toots ur horn.....

in any case this the best montage yet of eddie

  • I'd say the reason we don't see any more movies about the '60's is that the whole infrstructure, the big corporations.. they all are owned by such a tangled web - so interconnected with the same people running the 'government' ha-ha.. well, ya know they all went nutty when rock & roll & then rebellious (us) kids almost did away with the old society of this country.. the bigots & the sheep that put their heads in their noose & 'did as they were told' - now we have a mess.. ignorance is.. bliss

  • Well I have had HBO for about 6 months and have not seen it and on the prog channel I have nvr seen it listed....anyone remember seeing it aired on HBO or offered as a pre-record?

  • so why dont any of the major movie channells e.g showtime, hbo run episode one of the crusiers...anyone know who has the rights to the movie?

  • HBO OWNS THIS MOVIE

  • I love this song...

The first movie was Brilliant but the second was know where near as good.

The songs in the first are just amazing but the second are.... average

  • If the movie did not have such a horrid ending the awsome soundtrack could have carried this movie.
