  • As long as he survives!

  • 9 people tried to do this and crashed

  • funny and incredible 5*****

  • 8 person stay near of an airport

  • you wish to be received with applause the day you try to steal a car!!!! XD

  • regardez a 3:54 il a gerbé sur son T-shirt xD

  • 8 people tried this and crashed

  • @TheViperAttacker Who???

  • Now THAT'S a pilot! Sexy too ;)

  • I wonder how many times he crashed perfecting that routine.

  • CRASH!

  • please i do this all the time in flight simulatior 2004

  • very good thanks for posting

  • And the instructor made me fly 5 more hours duel when I did that before my first solo and I said," that front landing gear should have been made better."

  • Now THAT is a pilot!!!

  • lol thats cool

  • my my my my my. I bet the crowd went bizerk when he took off, that is one great stunt pilot and one heck of a show.. I would sure like to see that in person.. God be with him while making people enjoy an air show.. GDM Hershey Pennsylvania

  • He makes the plane look drunk. Awesome.

  • I wonder if he puts something on the wingtip(s) to protect them or give extra strength to handle the wingtip-dragging? I also wonder if there's something on the wingtip to make it/them smoke after they drag on the runway or it's just melting/hot fabric and/or glue & chemicals that cause the smoke? Maybe they just deal with the minor damage after each show? Maybe they beef them up on purpose?

Hey - I'm an aircraft sheetmetal/structures mechanic/pilot & wonder about strange stuff like this!

  • This is awesome. Flying like that takes true talent. And the drunken spectator bit just makes it that much better =)

  • gay? i'll give you fake, but gay? could you do better?

  • Fake and GAY!!!!!!

  • @tez315 You got to be kidding me! That was well planned and a very cool display.

  • @tez315

Believe what you want. I was at the Sun 'n Fun Fly-In in Lakeland, FL two years ago, his act was there. It is absolutely amazing! It is a true example of making great and skilled flying look really bad.

  • What fun! Look ma, no hands! Obviously an excellant pilot!

  • Awesome Stunts!!!

  • Very well done!!! Thank you so much!!

  • LOL that is epic! :48 He had to have cracked that landing gear on that first pass....

  • Great Job!

The first time I ever saw this routine was at an airshow in Lubbock, TX & it was Kyle's dad, Jimmy, that pulled it off. Looks like the genes didn't fall far from the tree :)

  • I think a gerbil crawled up my anus

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!

  • The pilot uses everything in the plane, including the flaps, with a Johnson bar flap handle, like in the hi-tech fighter planes wherein the flaps are controlled by the computers.

  • You always get the best from Naval Aviation. Only a stud who can park an FA-18 on the deck of a carrier, in rough seas, in the middle of the night, can fly like this.

  • EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE CYCLICAL THESE DAYS AND WE ARE GOING BACK TO THE BARN STORMING DAYS WITH THESE TYPE OF ANTICS.

  • I once had a crosswind takeoff that looked like his, what is the big deal? Talk about some skill! The cub is an amazing aircraft and in the hands of a master it will do amazing things!

  • four people think that airport security is lacking after 9-11 if a drunk can steal a fully fueled and running plane, the rest of us thinks its funny and the smoke system on the wings is awesome

  • holy cows what engine is that , that msut 300hp

  • loool!

    unbelievable

  • nice!! ; )

  • omg

  • really crazy very good

  • I thought it was great! Not the way I fly but great. I don't even fly model planes that crazy! Trac

  • A great benchmark asswipe for all the young future pilot wannabees who believe they were watching a drunk pilot & try to emulate his stupidity

  • wild

  • hell of a pilot

  • HOW!!!!!

  • I imagine if someone didn't know he was an actor, starder runing and hitted him!

  • perfect music, too

  • What a brilliant Pilot

  • I grew up with Kyle's dad (Jimmy), worked and flew with his Granddad (Zip) and have known Kyle since an infant. He is NOT and airline pilot, although his uncle has been a Captain with Southwest airlines for 20+ years. This boy was raised in a flying (read aerobatics) family trained by the best of the best and is an outstanding pilot. His wife Amanda is a real sweetheart and a good pilot as well (Bobby Younkins daughter). Kyle is one of the best performers you can watch and will only get better!

  • Fantastique, un contrôle extraordinaire. Dire que de jour nous avons de la difficulté avec le vent de travers.

  • AWESOME.......... completely and utterly bonkers but still awesome.

  • Naval Captain Dick Schram, known as the "Flying Professor" was indeed killed performing a similar routine after wowing audiences for more than 20 years. I saw

him perform more than once at the Glenview Naval Air Station in Illinois. He certainly

put on a good show. His son was a Blue Angel later on, and attained the rank of Commander. Obviously they had flying in the blood.

  • Here's to my Dad, Peter, killed in a Piper Camanche 1969 caught in the wake of a jet airliner 200 feet after take off. The FAA lost and so did I.

  • a true fucking hero! AWESOME!

  • This is a video of a stunt pilot who, in real life, is a Delta Airlines pilot. His act at air shows is to pretend that he is a drunken spectator, who rushes from the stands and jumps into a Piper Cub and takes off without any understanding of how to fly a plane.

The Piper Cub is actually specifically built to withstand an enormous amount of stress and has a very powerful engine.

  • Can you spell "PUCKER POWER"? Wheeew! What a rush!

  • Too funny. One of the better acts at a local airshow I attend in Virginia

  • Excelent

  • do u know the pilots name and where hes from hes amazing

  • kind of reminds me of some of my first solo flights

  • nice video

  • How could someone give this thumbs down?

  • There are old pilots, and there are bold pilots.... but there are no old, bold pilots.

  • You gotta be really good to fly this bad....

I see it all the time in Wyoming...ranchers flying around shooting coyotes and checking cows. Well, maybe not quite this bad. Except one rancher crashed his plane into the Game Warden's truck here a few years back , trying to land in an open field to tell him about all those elk eating hay. Too bad there was no video of that.

  • Thank you dopplerman.

Do you know what type of aircraft it is?

  • if he were not kidding around this would come close to ballet!

  • Love it ! Anyone know how he protects his wing tips?

  • I'd trust that guy to handle a real emergency any day. That took some practice. If it were not a comedy act don't you think the other military people video tapping it at the beginning would have been chasing him.... it's a show !

  • Airshows are Kyle Franklin's full-time job, performing 4 different acts with the Super Cub and Waco "Mystery Ship" at airshows all across the country. Check out Franklin's Flying Circus.

  • 3 people missed the like button ,they are Hitlers gay fuckers-GO SUCK DICK IN HELL

  • There was a guy who did this very same thing at airshows. He was called the Professor. He's DEAD! He died doing this very same routine. Why don't they just introduce this guy as a very good STUNT PILOT and let him do his routine. I just think this is a poor way to promote aviation...having a guy break thru security, steal an airplane and then fly this reckless routine. Just my opinion!

  • This is so funny. I hope you enjoy it.

This type of stunt is actually the most dangerous of air show acts, because of the low altitude at which the pilot performs.

  • @JeanJines No Delta

look at his web site born into airshow performing !

  • @turbokitty222 Would love to link to his webpage but don't know what it is!! Please reply and put the link in your reply. Thanks.

  • @turbokitty222 -- Thanks so much -- very interesting site!!!

  • Great routine...I know its all a trick but I am a pilot and I know I couldn't do that sober.

  • "Gosh, sweetie, how did he ever find out he *could* fly like that?"

    "Probably by accident."

  • Truly amazing.

  • Absolutely spectacular.... this guy can get a sweet discount on his pilot gear at AeroWarehouse anytime!

  • i wonder what amazing things can do this pilot with a clipped wing cub.

  • amazing! i love this video, you are an exelent pilot!!!

    congrats...

  • insane(ly good)

  • I think he knows that airfield quit well. Brilliant stuff

  • Good for the heart- so exciting LOVED IT

  • He is good! :)

  • This is NO DRUNK! this is an ARTIST!

to stall the plain at 0ft and NOT CRASH IT?!

    WOW!

    He is good!!

  • The only thing missing would have been a few beer cans tossed out on the runway as he fell out. ;-p

  • That's hilarious! I guess they have to replace the wingtips every so often.

  • @PringlePoirot Wow! Yeah I cringed at the wing strikes too. Fantastic pilot.

  • Haven´t seen anything better done with an A/C!

  • holy macro! very nice!

  • I like to try that with a 747.

I will put it on YouTube in case you've missed it on CNN

  • Hahaa

  • great pilot!!!!!

  • Unbelievable, awesome, incredible, GREAT.

    The very best pilot.

    Great man !!

  • BRAVO!! BRAVO!!

  • he plays a convincing drunk! LoL@ the rudder flapping around wildly

  • @lejink

especially wearing the wife beater! too funny.

  • Awesome awesome! 10 out of 5 stars!

  • That has to be the best airshow flying ive ever seen! i'de love to see them at Sun 'N' Fun!

  • When is Sun n Fun?

  • @osgood54 13th - 18th April - Lakeland, Orlando Florida google - sun-n-fun
