3. She's a tad inconsistent on her triple spin; if she gets credit for a double, it's only a B, just like the one she does (which she nails every time and looks prettier).
I'd also like to congratulate the choreographer! He/she's done an amazing job! Anna fills every single note of the music with a dance element and with a sense of rhythm we haven't seen in years!
The choreography is very simple and over-rated. Her performance of it is lovely, but don't mistake her execution of the choreography to mean that the choreography is actually mind blowing. It is nice and simple.

You are confused, the style of Zamolodchikova is very artistic, near the modern dance not to the classic dance, but the routines of chellsie memmel and carly patterson, only are jump acrobatics and that is not artistic
Well, i think we have different point of view, but in my opinion, zamo doesn´t have elegance and softness in coreography. There is for example Catalina Ponor, their routines were about classic dance, nevertheless she was very elegant in their movements. Zamo DIDN´T HAVE that kind of expressions.
Of course. The Zamo's choreography is not elegant, is pure action and transmits dynamism, that each one interprets it as it wants but it transmits things, the robotic choreographies of some North American gymnasts do not transmit nothing.
Although she's not naturally elegant and poised, Elena's "Breathe" routine from 2002-2005, as well as her 2000 FX were smartly choreographed and thoroughly enjoyable to watch! She managed to incorporate her personal style into the choreography (and did an amazing job), she didn't try to be a swan or dance to a classical piece she couldn't pull off!
I have to agree that zamo is aristic in her own way. Which is what I try to point our,everyone has different expressions,different bodies and movments,and thats THEIR OWN type of artistry. But some gymnast just dont try,and they make it all about tricks like patterson.memmel and shawn j.
Zamo was kind of a genious...she wasn´t graceful or artistic at all but yet she always managed to make interesting routines, routines that dragged the crowd´s attention wich neither Shawn or Patterson ever did or will ever do!
me too!! I´m not a Nastia fan but her victory was too good to believe I was very very happy when she won...She is great and she is everything that I love in a gymnast...still Im not a fan

Maybe... Cuz I saw Zamo did that jump at 2000 olympic and it also appear in MonstepanovaFan's montage. I don't remember the name of that montage.

If you kind of think about it. The russian coaches are being kind of dumb.
1.She has an amazing full in and should have replaced something in the 2 or 3rd pass.
2.That tour jete if giving her deductions and is being downgraded at competitions.
3. She could replace the tour jete with the leap she did at the end.
4.She also has comepeted a good triple turn tha she could add.
If you do everything like that she gets an extra tenth in her A score and occur less deductions.

Yep. Al i know is Im glad Nastia won AAA instead of shawn. Nastia should be the gymnast that is looked up to for her difficulty and atristry.
