  • The Mandean religion of Iraq, which is neither Christian, Moslem or Jewish, venerates John as a prophet while despising Jesus as an imposter (The Knights Templar used to spit on the cross). This is because John was the original leader of the Nazorites (Nazareth didn't exist). Pagans believed that a murdered man's spirit could be controlled if you were in possession of his body parts. Herod believed that Jesus controlled John's spirit to perform his miracles & Salome appears at the crucifixion.

  • @bondurango John the Baptist was the Messiah of Malachi 3!

  • I love John the Baptist and Saint Mary Magdalene!

Mary Magdalene is wrong presented in almost all the movies. She was a very serious young lady, virgin, who had an enormous contribution to Christianity. She is an apostle and a saint! God bless her!

  • what movie is this?

  • reading the comments below, i just want to ask those wanting to debate, WHY are you being so "religious"? We all have read the bible, we are not unlearned. Why must you be ugly in your words and vulgar to add to the readers injury. Be gentle. You were just watching a video on love and forgivness and acceptance, doesn't that make your heart want to soar and be a better person.

  • John the Baptist FUCK YOUSELF...

  • false video

  • oh brother...Nowhere in the Bible does it show that John knew Mary. It's doubtful since John was murdered so soon in Jesus' ministry.

  • @JaneeAddy The Bible doesn't say much about Mary Magdalene or Jesus.

  • i love john the baptist in this movie/series

  • wow Mary Magdalene is a fuckin babe

  • I'm really tired of Mary Magdalene being portrayed as a "fallen woman".

She was only married to one man and never divorced.

She had love in her life and didn't need to seek it out. And she was certainly NEVER A PROSTITUTE!

  • powerful

  • John the Baptist as he is portrayed here had no eye to see there is no greater love than the love between two, a man and a woman, who have realized God in their hearts. Their unity is God.

  • @ariadneg333

We need to be careful in always relating the unity of man and woman with unity with God. What about people that never get married? Have they NEVER experienced such a love through people? We always idolize marriage like that. What about the love of a parent for a child? That is a pretty amazing love to me. That is pretty unconditional. I think John is sort of right that God's love is even better than a love between man and woman although it is great....
