Prosthetic Maintenance: Changing the Hook Bands

Hey, I just wanted to pass along a nice alternative to the bands you use! I'm in a design class at the University of Washington where we have a project to design a new prosthetic arm. We had a guest come in who uses the same hook that you do and she suggested using Sheep castration bands. They are a lot cheaper and you get bunch of them! Thought you might like piece of info! i wish i had stuff like this when i was growing up would of made life alot easeier i dont use mt prostetic, it just became easier to be without,but i think becuase no one ever showed me how

Sean: How about some videos showing the way you use the hook in everyday life: eating, writing, working, etc.? Seems like the hook could be quite functional, since it's on your right arm, and I recall you were right-handed.
