Mark's idea of the military industrial complex was way ahead of it's time. These guys had the right idea of what the New World Order's intent was all along. To De-evolve. To take away everything we've fought for like freedom of "eveything" not just choice.
If it wasn't for the glasses and hair, many people probably would have called Mark a pretty boy. He always seemed so aloof. I like this band more and more lately and I've collected all of their remastered classic albums. (I already had their 5th and 6th albums on CD (on the Collectables label.) I hope they remaster those, too.
According to the liner notes for "DEVO Live 1980" Dualdisc, thet were REALLY angry about the sound system problems caused by broadcast companiy's equipment and had some open confrontations with crew during the performance, late edited out
Many, many, MANY thanks for one of the most interesting of the Devo vids on YouTube -- a terrific interview with Mark, a rare look at the Fab 5 behind the scenes in rehearsal, and all from 1982, the exact moment when these brave visionaries were at the very top of their game. I join clownpants in begging for more, down on my knees in doggie submission! Look at me with my mouth waterin'!
Jesus that was quick of them to put this up on the clubdevo website, I just saw this a few days ago like a day after this guy first put it up. Mark is hawt
What does DEVO say about OWS? Can you say all their prophecies coming true?

any day, his drumming on the first album was especially sensational.

Never should have let Alan go.

Josh is better IMO. I do think that he brings a new energy to the band and saved the band.
