  • The first till Dyson... Your a bit off DD Vision and Vision Lite later the Featherlite bagless, Along with Fantom and Eureka Whirlwind vacuums were all bagless...

  • Actually, Fantom was still around when Hoover introduced their Twin-Chamber System. I think Fantom still had dual-cyclonic technology.

  • lol you need a shop vac bro :D @bagintheback

  • No matter what, if you have allergies and/or if you have pets, then a cloth bagged vacuum is a lot better than most of the bagless systems currently out there. The best bagless vacuum out there currently is the LG upright and canister Kompressor models. They can hold up to 3X more dirt than any bagless vacuum, and picks up better than a Dyson DC17, DC28, and DC33!

  • @Vacloard90

I just made a video and and uploading it now.

  • @Vacloard90

I would love to find one of those Hoover Bagless models in purple, but I have yet to find one. They use an Elite motor, so it is a direct-air bagless!

  • @Vacloard90

Well my model does not have any windtunnel air paths, and mine was made two years after Hoover introduced the model. They came out mid-2003

  • @Vacloard90

I have seen your videos. I have never found a vacuum in a garbage, so you seem to be lucky with finding them. I think I got the Empower for my birthday, so I did not pay for it. I get most of my vacuums from thrift stores now so I rarely pay more than $30 for a vacuum. I did buy my Dyson new, but it was on sale and I saved well over $150.

  • @Vacloard90

Did I buy what? The Empower? I bought it new in 2005. Or did you mean the statement thevacuuman5 made? I would agree that bagged vacuums generally filter better than bagless vacuums, but it depends on the model.

  • thats why I've always prefered bagged vacuums. even cyclonic to me is proboly the crapiest thing i've ever seen. I have my opinions that the cyclones in cyclonic vacuums are just extra pieces of plastic that make the vacuum heavier than people think kirbys and sanitaires are. I also think bagged vacuums are more filtrated (except for my junk hoover tempo runabout) than all canisters.

  • @thevacuumman5

It does seem that cyclones are basically plastic tubes, but they do work and I would much rather have a cyclonic vacuum than regular bagless. My Dyson is so much easier to empty than any bagless I have ever used, but I do prefer bagged machines like you. I will always favor a top-filling bagged vacuum over a bagless.

  • @bagintheback Oh ok. How are Dysons emptied out? The reason why I mentioned that my hoover tempo runabout is excluded by me to be the best bagged vacuum in the world is because it has dust and crap caked and I mean caked inside the bag cover all over the place. I find it astonishing (and I'm not saying that in a good way) and repulsive to find that in a in a bagged vacuum. Especially when it has these two carbon filters on it!

  • @thevacuumman5

There is a large red button that you push that opens a lid on the bottom of the cup. Unlike most bagless vacuums, the dirt falls out immediately and without a large cloud of dust.

  • @bagintheback Thats interesting. I kind of like that idea.

  • @Vacloard90

Hoover is my favorite brand as well. The new ones made in Mexico are not built well, so I prefer the models made before 2000.

Why do you ask if I have pets? I have two dogs and a cat. Could you tell by the dust?

  • @Vacloard90

Actually it does not. The Hoover Tempo has windtunnel air channels, but the Empower has a similar setup to the Hoover Elite series.

  • the empower was by far one of the worst vacuums they have an ok desing but it constently cloged and at the point when they came out the dirt still hit the fan unlike all of the other ones out now where the suction comes thru the filter or thru a dust seperator system

  • I think if you have to get a baglesss vacuum then get water filtration, it takes more time to clean but every time you use it you clean it thoroughly, unlike with my dyson, where you just dump it out and every now and then open the cyclones and run it under warm water (not recommended by dyson, but after using it for about 3 years it definitely needed it!)

  • its called a twin bin system btw

  • ITS GONNA KILL YOUR VACUUM!! YOUR LUNGS! YOUR WIFES! YOU HUSBANDS! AND YOUR KIDS!

  • @vacuumlover1

That was good. I was just disgusted when I made the video, otherwise I would have said it calmly.

  • you should of sucked off the filter with another vacuum cleaner if you had one.

  • @NumaticVacuum

I have done that before, but what consumer would do that? How often would a regular vac owner even attempt to clean the filter? The Twin-Chamber was a response to the Fantom and it's time is over. Cyclonic is the way to go for bagless.

  • lol i hate vacuums with filter in the bin cus i know theyloose suction my aunty has a vax with a filter in the bin its cylinder model it looses suction too

  • I have a bagged.
