I just purchased the "Songs 4 Worship: Be Glorified" (blue jacket) by Integrity Music and this Bob Fitts version of "I stand in Awe of You" is one of the 22 songs included on the two disc album. The album also includes some of my personal favorites including "Isn't He", "Surely The Presence of The Lord", "You Are My Hiding Place", etc. Amazon allows you to sample all of the songs.

This is a beautiful version. The lead female vocalist sounds like Miriam Webster and not Darlene. Anne Herring made a really powerful and beautiful rendition (cover- as they say today) back in the late 80's or early 90's which is my favorite. I wonder if its online anywhere.

One of my favorite songs. It's not Hillsong's though. It's part of the album "The Lord Reigns" from Integrity. It was Bob Fitts leading worship. I should know. I've had the cassette tape since 1990 and we made a concert out of the entire album back then.

Trust me, sugar. It's Annie Herring. I remembering driving to church one morning back in the 90s and hearing her singing "The Master's Hand." I had to stop on the side of the road to call directory assistance to get the radio station's phone number and then called them to ask them who it was. The very next day, I went and picked up the CD containing both "The Master's Hand" and "I Stand In Awe of You." Trust me ... it's Annie Herring beyond a shadow of a doubt.

What matters most is the meaning of this song that shows how deep and how beautiful and majestic God is! The name might matters. Maybe the one who post this song did not see what we've commented. This is the "original" recording, first released on an Integrity's Hosanna Music album back in the 80's. From my own personal perspective absolutely the most beautiful version ever recorded. I still get chills when I listen to it. Thank you for posting it, as my own tape is long ago worn out. That whole album was fabulous.

This is not little Darlene Zschech. This is from a person named Annie Herring. She was a member of Second (2nd) Chapter of Acts and has one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard. I think it is much better than Annie Herring's, my opinion. It sounds like she's crying when she sings. Listen to her other videos (type in her name and several will come up). She also sings "The Master's Hand", which I can't find, but you would be in "awe" if you heard it. Guaranteed.

Is this really Hillsong? I doubt it. The style is not quite from Hillsong but more like Integrity music.
