Im 30, I was alcoholic & a habitual smoker for the past 10 years (quit everything now). Got every possible test done including MIBG(suspected for pheochromocytoma) EKG, ECG, 24 hr Holter, Coronary CT angiography & stool, Urine, blood culture & regular tests. Please tell me a way to control pounding heart beats?
Im taking propranolol 10mg +clonezapam0.25 mg + moxonidine 0.2 mg(for BP) in the morning & paroxitine 12.5mg + 0.5 mg clonezapam+moxonidine 0.2 mg+nervez g(Gabapentin & methylcobalamine)
Holla! Have you thought about - Supreme Panic Magic (erm, check it on google should be there)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my cousin at last removed the anxiety problem with it.
I think I have a panic disorder but im not sure............. but most of it has to do with vomit.......i don't have full panic attacks until some one actually vomits or starts choking........
But some one spitting gum directly in the trash makes my heart skip a few beats burping makes me quiver and makes my heart skip a beat then beat fast and so do hiccups and sometimes sneezing ......i often have dreams a bout people vomiting in the dreams im scared but not as I am in real life.........
@mightybfool That to me sounds like a phobia. You need to expose yourself to the vomit until your brain realizes that it wont hurt you! But yes, you may experience panic and anxiety. Oh and the fear of vomit is called Emetophobia! I hope this helps you. You can google ways to overcome Emetophobia, it might help ya! :)
I never knew what it was I had it for many yrs, Till I was told by a GP, Not these Fk'n therapist, Wasted my time and money.
I can drive without any problems, Go on a flight. Just about do anything, Once in a rare while I get it, And, I just go with it, At the same time ignore it.
Is an anger attack similar to a panic attack? I always feel like my attacks are down to frustration rather than fear. I've never hit or lashed out at anyone but instead if someone is criticizing me I feel useless and I start to internalize the criticism and my thoughts just keep getting worse until I have a full blown anger/panic attack. I feel like I have no control or can't do anything right. Can anyone tell me if this sounds more like panic or just rage at myself?
@NS675 No it sounds more like anger to me. I suffered from panic disorder, and what I felt was an incredibly extreme fear, absolute panic and anxiety. Check with your doctor just in case.
@NS675 That is different what your experiencing. Panic attacks are a straight fear thing. I have them, and it feels like your going crazy, or going to lose control of your body, or like you can't breathe. Your not angry when you have them, you just really scared
Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.
