and Fty my main instrument is piano and I listen to very large variety of music. The list of music you listed is actually very thin selection and any musician worth his salt that listens to even one of those styles would likely listen to the others.
I do not believe these toys are needed my point is if someone uses these they use them because they want to have these sorts of sounds in their music. It isn't needed it is just DIFFERENT. They are used to try and create something new and different. Yes some of the effects warp the guitar beyond reason but I try to think the guitar as kind of an interface for this.

@bigdautorio Bravo! stay in your stone age attitude. The only difference with that guitar is that instead of having your gear on the floor, you have it at your fingertip. This is a guitar built for live performance. I built integrated effects in my guitar and it simplifies my setup so much while jamming. It removes nothing from the basic sound of the guitar / pickups. Each song requires it's own setup and integrated effects makes it easy to make the changes.

Matt uses Hugh Manson custom made guitars made in Devon,Exeter in the UK.He’s got a quite good number of Mansons. The first and most famous is his silver Manson. The new ones he’s got right now which he uses some in concerts are the ones with Kaoss pad on the side.

@EwingPatric It doesn't have a shit tone, really. It's just this is a bad representation of it. watch?v=aTTyzfF_TCU watch this video from about 4:20 onwards. It's got a great, solid tone. I reckon that guy is just using a shitty amp and distortion.

Matt uses Hugh Manson custom made guitars made in Devon,Exeter in the UK.He’s got a quite good number of Mansons. The first and most famous is his silver Manson. The new ones he’s got right now which he uses some in concerts are the ones with Kaoss pad on the side.

@ReB161616 Then put shipping on top. Cost me 6k to get it all the way to Australia, and our dollar is 1:1 with the US.. so yeah, you're looking at 6k if you can manage to get on the list.
There's only 50 of them built for the public, and none of them are in the broken mirror finish :)
