  • That man on the bike was my drama teacher!:)

  • Barong or barot saya* sorry I'm typing on the iPad

  • Their hats are definitely more chinese or viet than the salakot they use in the Philippines.. And some are even wearing Vietnamese clothes but I think that white people wouldn't get enough of the image if they wear the barring or barite saya after all it's more Spanish influenced. I think it's really cute.. A little racist yeah but I think that's what you've got to expect from European humor.. We make fun of white people a lit too you know

  • Pero tiene ulna municipalidad en filipinas se llama Madrid no?

  • well maybe the hats do seems odd..im trying to remember if they wear those in my village..i think they do,the pointy ones, yeah they're made out of coconut leaves i think and some from straws.

  • @mpa324 The hats are ot od. They are SALAKOtT. You'll see that in many cartoon illustrations of Juan dela Cruz

  • Nothing wrong with this video,,i liked it.and yes we do wear those clothes.not all but the farmers the real hardworking people in the Philippines. To the one who says we don't wear those, you must have grown up in the city with rich family, who has not seen the outside of the city walls..There is nothing racist or discriminating about it,it showed our last bit of our innocent culture.and the beautiful scenery.I would live there in a clean farming village, with internet and tv of course haha..

  • lololol

  • Im filipino living in Madrid. ok naman tangap naman nila na mga katulong tayo. so maging happy kayo na nasama tayo sa commercial...

  • I'm a Filipino myself and I find this kinda funny rather than offending. How come they have Vietnamese clothing? Hahaha! Have you noticed their hats and costumes? Filipinos don't wear those stuff!

  • @reasonableskeptic My grandparents use those hats! SALAKOT YUN NO!

  • poor production..

Wowowee country, country of fools and stupid people!

  • @nanohert Gago ka ba? Kitang kita yung kultura natin, strong family ties, yung OFW, yung galing nation sa paginnovate... makikita mo lang ang panget sa isang bagay kung yun lang ang hahanapin mo.

  • what a racist peice of shit video

  • Muy bueno, very well Manuel

  • nice commercial!

but its quite noticeable that the main actor is not fluent in Tagalog. =P

  • anyone noticed how horrible the young guy spoke tagalog - if he wasn't filipino then i suppose that's understandable, but if he was, then that's just a shame. lots of talented actor in the philippines they could've at least chosen someone who spoke fluent tagalog.

  • That young guy is my cousin Don who is a British born Filipino. He is a talented actor based in London who has his own drama schools for young people.

  • why?

  • fantastic! and i don't agree it pokes fun at us. in fact, i think it has a positive view of filipinos because it shows we can do whatever we put our mind to. the spanish regard filipinos very highly in spain. i was never ashamed of being filipino when i lived there for 3 months in 2005! i love this commercial! it's the best!

  • oh come one.

    it's Darwinistic!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • true. while it may seem like a harmless commercial on the surface, it can be potentially create a very philistine view of Filipinos.

  • i just don't know if you are one of the dumb and foolish Filipinos who think this ad is beneficiary for us, (maybe you're ashamed now that you are a Filipino).. PROUD ka pang UL*L ka! magisip ka nga... nakakainsulto tong ad na to sa Brown race..

  • you' re the one who is displaying your dumbness boy. the ad of course is not beneficiary to us...maybe you mean, beneficial. besides the ad is not meant to be beneficial, it is meant to poke fun and show the humorous side to things. where is your sense of humor? Ulol ka rin at ikaw ang magisip kasi you are being overly sensitive. your emotion is blinding you to the humor of the ad.

  • LAB IT!!!

  • ganda...

  • Love it even though it pokes a little fun at filipinos is a good way. Hey, at least is shows us as industrious people that can "mimic" anything we want given the limited resources.

  • love it!!

  • I see this in the metro all the time. I always laugh because it's more or less a joke of Las Islas Filipinas. This would never fly in the US, but I love it anyway!

  • whatta nice film! ! .

it´s one of the best advertisement i´ve ever seeN. .=)
