sexual intercourse is not treated as a sin if practiced when married. Otherwise it is a sin. Anyway, it doesn't have to mean you'll be instantly dead because of sinning. If you regret what you've done and at least try to get better, there is a chance for you getting back to life. Btw., if you sleep with a woman because you LOVE her it is more acceptable, than if you'd just sleep with her to have fun. Don't you see the catch? There is a huge difference between pure love and exhibitional sex. ;)

God used the simple to confound the wise. The story is about a MAN coming into a town village city what ever. This MAN starts telling God is about to kick yall in the teeth and you will not survive none of you. Man they thought he was CRAZY and so would you.Think about it one MAN telling you that God is fixin to destroy all of you. You would not pay this man no attention. Trying to get in through the back door. Through love. Wont happen. Love is a feeling or emotions cant be trusted.

Christians look at the sin in their life with the realization of their need for a savior in Jesus Christ or God. Most religions do this but not all, especially the religion of atheism. Christians know they are sinful and look to God to help them become better and do well in the world.

Why are my favorite parts of scripture always left out of these accounts of Sodom & Gomorrah? When the people cried for Lot to send out his guest so they could have sex with him, Lot said NO, take my daughters. Neither the angel nor God said a thing. Those are some awesome family values!

Then after they left and the wife was turned to a pillar of salt, a few days outside of the next town, the daughters wanted a man, so they got Lot drunk and laid with him. God didn't object.

Do you really think the story is approving of incest? Not everything needs to be stated in literature. The writer was not writing a script for a hollywood movie where everything had to be dumbed down for a simpleton audience.

I think you need to read more books and watch more subtle movies.

Why not visit Israel and Jordan? Go to the Dead Sea. You will not find any hard evidence to contradict the story. In fact, you can find huge deposits of ash, salt and sulpher as stated in the story.

Yes, I have been there. I lived and worked there for quite a while. By living there and travelling there is nothing to be found that will dismiss any of the biblical claims.

The sounds were annoying, and the dancing was annoying; this whole film was horrible! It would be something which I would throw in the trash, if given to me, as it added nothing to me that I could not have received so much more clearly from the spoken and written Word of God itself.

If I want to see what Sodom was like, however, all I have to do is watch the news; every night they show footage which reminds me that we have become worse than Sodom! And that reminds me the end is drawing near!

I didn't know the Biblical account was so much of a study on movement and imagery in black and white.

Mind you the verbal behavior of God was revealing that more than homosexuality was on trial as a whole city was violently demanding of their own judge of the city, so lawlessness was the word of the day in Sodom.

It was about way more than just homosexuality, as that was a symptom of disease, for the disease itself was the iniquity and idolatry in Sodom that was so gross that it led them to accept that homosexuality was natural and normal.

And in their insanity, that madness caused by iniquity and idolatry, they went so far as to incorporate that reprobate behavior into their very worship. So when they came to the house, to rape those angels of Yahweh God, it was actually part of their warped religion!

What they at first rejected as an abomination, as reprobate and perverse, they came to see as natural and normal; so, they embraced it and then allowed it into their midst.

What they then allowed into their midst as natural and normal, that vile and perverted mindset, they then went on to celebrate!

Now look around at the churches today, and see this great sin against God, that they're committing by both accepting and celebrating a perverse and polluted "lifestyle" so-called! The end is near!

Homosexuality is a sin, but all are sinners. Sin is judged by death & there were many rules for death in Old Testament.

God is leaving people to their homosexuality in New Testament, but God did that for many sins throughout time.

Sodom (soot-dumb) means "ass-hole" because of story that survived, but they were judged for sin & lawlessness of all varieties.

Someone knows what people of Sodom asked for relative to angels because of getting out.

Great sin; please all sin is bad.
