Does anybody know if this is Ormandy's orchestration? This is quite different from what the Philadelphia Orchestra played for Fantasia (Stokowski's Orchestration).
Hey guys. I'm battling from schizophrenia. I'm not asking for money or views or anything, but just for support and for people to hear me out. My psychiatrist said to let people know about your problem, but everyone thinks I'm weird and my family cannot understand or take me seriously. I made a blog about my problems, and I hope we can talk on there. My blog is battlingschizophrenia.blogspot.com . Fellow schizophrenics, you should also come. We can fight the battle together.
playing piano- controlling beautiful chords and notes to your liking
Playing and hearing in an orchestra- focusing on one note at a time (or maybe two depending on the instrument) to make that note brilliant; and if the others do that well, magic happens
This movie is great i mean the story is well written and well directed and acted very well. I mean it transitions from the plan to the heist and with all of this chaos and insanse events it somehow ends in a low pitch style and you end up with a smile on your face at the end thinking "damn i want to see that again". Beautiful movie
That's sad but beautiful. I too had an experience with this song. Earlier this year, me and 6 friends went on a road trip to Lisbon. One evening we went to visit the Belém tower. When we arrived a storm began, we all began to laugh. It was while walking along the sea towards the Belem tower, laughing, umbrellas flying everywhere, this song came into my head and I had the most sublime moment. I realised this would be one of the happiest moments in my life. God bless music.
Hey, anyone know what the soundtrack song is when Danny's walking out of the restaurant and Linus starts to follow him? Begins with kind of a slow bass line...
does anyone know if there's a video on here of the song playing when they show how they robbed the casino (when the guys are walking out as the swat team)?
What a great tune...seen with the fountains at Bellagio was bittersweet. I marked the end of my marriage to someone I truly loved while watching the fountains to this rendition. But it was ok....what a great way to end it and move on with my life. Kind of said it all without saying it.
it really fitted in like right after the broke in2 the 3 casino's n walked out very rich men n met up at the Ballagio fountain and quietly went about their own paths.
@SweetestThing0417 I can see this is nearly one year on after your marriage broke down & your life started once again; but reading your comment whilst listening to this music was extremely powerful, poignant & emotive. Hope things are better for you now.
@SweetestThing0417 i know it's old but i hope you are doing good now. this tune does feel like a "ok time to move on" song. it speaks to me too in a very personal way.
@SweetestThing0417 Amazing the power of music no? Well thats great that you moved on. Your story moved me to tears. This song personally, triggers past events of my life. The not so good ones and the happy times, but its strangely comforting.
Oceans 11 is such a kick ass movie.

This piece is beautiful on piano; played as a symphony, it's simply breathtaking! Amazing rendition!

This is my favourite orchestral arrangement of clair de lune...very expressive and emotional. Especially liked how they used the harp and woodwinds.

It's the kind of music that seems to be from a movie from the 50's or 60's.
