Also, you can't compare idols to ballad singers, they both have different target audiences, and idol music is catchier and that leads to less depth in their music.

They are Idols, and fans and the general public has accept them as such.

They are still young though. I can see them improving and some members will have a bright future as singers.

In any case, they have enough vocal talent and skills to stand out from the rest of the idols in kpop, so they deserve their awards.

Just like comparing BES's dancing with SNSD's

SNSD is all-rounded, not just good at singing. Nothing to be shame about if SNSD can't sing as well as those professional ballad singers, as SNSD are also talented in other ways. Say.. they get and A- in singing, and BES gets a A or even A+. SNSD's singing still worth appreciation though it is not A+

For IU, I think Taeyeon will not lose to her in singing.
