Oh my goodness -- you have quite a large flock, don't you! :-) Thanks for posting this video; your birds are adorable, and it's obvious you have great affection for each one. 5 stars.
I would like to be possible to teach the lovebirds to go to the toilet. :o)
They make their 'business" all the time and everywhere. That is the problem in creating lovebirds free, out of cages. The other, and bigger problem, is the cats of the neighboorhood. I have lost 2 lovebirds for cats in last 3 years. Now I am trying to create them in cages, for security.
No, inside. But one day I distracted some minutes and a cat got in the house through a small window forgotten opened, and it got the bird. The second time, my parents decided to carry the bird to get some sun bath outside, and ther was a cat of the neighboorhood next...
naaww...eh, they will move back soon enough X3 I can hear the distant bird calls *laugh*
i have a question...i can't find any lovies in my area =( but i decided to wait until the mating season and see if the breeder will have other options. but if i can't (i hope i can) is a budgie a good choice? i have found someone that hand-raises them. sorry that i type so much. i guess i trust you! X3 love your vids.
Where are you from? Budgies are ok as pets. We have found that someone who wants a big bird in a small package, they should go with a lovebird. We are biased, but now having had both budgies and lovebirds, we think lovebirds are more playful with humans.

Not to disparage lovebirds (which are terribly cute!), but aren't budgies easier to tame ... and quieter?
