  • scifi classic, so much fun to watch!

  • This movie can be forgotten...by people who dislike these types of sci-fi films, but will not be forgotten by fans who enjoy this movie

  • den film finde ich total gut der ist cult der film ist obwohl B movie ein gut gemachter für wenig geld gemachter film klasse

  • how adventurous!!!! still remember when I was in class 9!!!!

  • I think so Down Johnson make a good remake!

  • The movie title reminds me of where I'm trapped -- NE Ohio.

  • I saw this in the theater during its original release, and thought it was great!

  • Maybe i should check this out, Edgar RIce Burroughs seems interesting if he created his own Lost World. I don't think it is easy for modern writers to do that.

  • "HI I'm Doug McClure, and you may remember me from films such as ..." lol

  • Amazing Film- What an ending!!! -- I want a remastered DVD release!!

  • Love it. There should be more such loyal adaptations of Edgar Rice Burrough's stories.

  • First film I ever saw at the cinema.

  • Saw this at the Drive-in and have been a Doug McClure fan ever since. Amazing that the entire budget for this film was 750,000 dollars! All these John Dark/Kevin Conner films have a special place in my heart!

  • @DrEdwardDiesel Troy McClure is Doug's cousin..and yes, these movies are a riot!!

  • Gives me the creeps. HOLY SH*T!!

  • Oh no I forgot it already!!!

  • 0:59 scared the shit out of me! lol

  • lol haha

  • dduuuuddee whhyyy??? i love this movie!!

  • "Come face to face with primitive man...THEN SHOOT THE CRAP OUTTA THEM!"

That'll teach you for being primitive.

  • :o OK i just jumped Fuck worth a watch now :)

  • I remember the scene on the submarine, where the icicles are wobbling in the breeze. One of quite a number of goofs in the film.

  • I loved this film when I was younger, and even though the puppets weren't the best special effects ever - I was never, EVER convinced by those Pterodactyls - it was still pretty awe-inspiring. The scenery and the SFX helped too.

  • does anyone see faces at 0:57?

  • @dneiderman no way, in the rocks man thats creepy

  • lol yep the 'face rocks' creeeeepy

  • clever use of puppets and a clever plot i saw this on vhs a couple of times!

  • this is based on the true story of the nazis looking for the lost world. if they find it america loose the war!

  • this one was better then the remake!

  • I remember going to see this movie when I was young lad and even then I realised the special effects were just awful!

  • "Awful" is pretty unfair. They had a decent cast and script, alot of cash was spent on the movie as well. Watch the scenes where the U-Boats torpedo the ships. Those were new scenes shot for the movie, not stock footage and look pretty good. As for the dinosaurs, they were top of the line in animatronics during that time frame. The only options open were either full scale animatronics and puppets, stop motion or men in suits.

  • U-boat VS dinosaurs! What's not to love?

  • Cuántos recuerdos me trae esta película!!

  • Hi I'm Do,, Troy McClure.

You might remember me from such movies as this one.

Even when I was a kid we knew these movies were bad.

The effects sucked as did the stories, but we still loved them anyway.

We used a mental tool seldom used today called imagination.

  • good trailer reminds me of the scifi classic planet of dinosaurs seen that movie 4 times on youtube and it came out in 1978 with impressive stop motion animation!

  • I agree. It's time to remake this classic film with some cutting edge CGI and Jurassic Park animatronics. If they do remake it, hopefully they'll stick to the original storyline.

  • Hab ich mir grad angeguckt

  • yeah....i've seen it 100 times when i was young.

i loved it and i'm still impressed today!

  • i seen this at the Pictures [Movies] was great and mind blowing. I was 7 at the time

  • I saw this when I was a child, too. It may have been the first film that scared me. Good movie, but it's time for a remake due to the unimpressive special effects. They'd better hurry.

  • allistercooper2008 they did remake the movie in 2009 but the trailer looked cheesy though!

  • Whatup only257! Don't you perhaps mean The Land of the Lost? That was a TV show. I remember watching that, too. A father and his two children. I've seen the trailer and yep, it does look...interesting :). I may catch it. :)!

  • just rent the dvd okay allistercooper2008!

  • Sure, if I can find it :). They haven't that much of a selection here in the Philippines as they do in even Canada.

  • try amazon!

  • Nope, he means "The Land that Time Forgot". Looks like the Asylum put it out direct to video, probably to cash in on "The Land of the Lost".

  • i saw that movie on a bootlegged website what a waste of time the movie was so cheesy the original movie was better adom!

  • I didn't say it was good. I haven't seen the asylum version. I was just stating that you had the title correct.

  • sorry thanks adom!

  • YES ME TOO SAW IT AS A KID...

  • Love this movie. Saw it as a kid.
