The police led the march onto the bridge and then, because the marchers were blocking traffic, they stopped them in the middle the bridge and had a stand off that lasted -- what ? 10 times as long as it would have taken to walk across the bridge -- while arresting 700 people with busses they'd brought in.
I have never seen a larger goup of misinformed people. All of you need to start asking what you can do for yourself instead of asking what others can do for you.
This isn't peaceful protesting. Your rights end when another person's begins. You all impeded other citizens right to travel on public roads.
@chase7700 In that case I think the police should have then done their job and BLOCKED access to the bridge. Instead many witnesses claim they were led onto the bridge and video support that. Furthermore, I think your denial of a peaceful protest is a skewed comment. Out of the thousand or so protesters during the last 3 weeks there was not one instance of violence or destroyed property of any kind, not even an overturned trash-can. I think that is pretty damn peaceful wouldn't you say?

Ha ha ha. The police led the march onto the bridge and then, because the marchers were blocking traffic, they stopped them in the middle the bridge and had a stand off that lasted -- what ? 10 times as long as it would have taken to walk across the bridge -- while arresting 700 people with busses they'd brought in.

I have never seen a larger goup of misinformed people. All of you need to start asking what you can do for yourself instead of asking what others can do for you.
This isn't peaceful protesting. Your rights end when another person's begins. You all impeded other citizens right to travel on public roads.

@chase7700 In that case I think the police should have then done their job and BLOCKED access to the bridge. Instead many witnesses claim they were led onto the bridge and video support that. Furthermore, I think your denial of a peaceful protest is a skewed comment. Out of the thousand or so protesters during the last 3 weeks there was not one instance of violence or destroyed property of any kind, not even an overturned trash-can. I think that is pretty damn peaceful wouldn't you say?
