  • dude had almost the exact same day accept i got really lucky and found a full plainview point and almost had a heart attack lol and im only 17 lol

  • I live in the Milwaukee area, know any place around here that I could find something?

  • You don't bode too well for the arrowhead collecting community when every time you find a point the "cha-ching" sound is heard. That's why most professional archaeologists think we're grave robbers who are out to profit off of artifacts.

  • @wiseshanks

Yeah, I suppose people could get the impression that I'm in it for money. Not so though. I would never sell a point. Every one is precious to me. My use of the "cha-ching" simply signifies the "money shot," as it's called - the moment the point is pulled from the soil. It captures the feeling most collectors get at that moment pretty well, I think. Sort of like "Boo-yaa!" is for fishermen :) Gotta go watch your pig Gar catch now... Thanks for watching/commenting...

  • nice plainview man, also a good on the spot description

  • so what do u do just go into fields and start playing i spy for heads?

  • @fishinjess

I only hunt in fields where I have permission from the landowner. After being threatened to be shot, and hollered at a few times, I learned my lesson :)

But yeah, exactly, lots of walking and looking = arrowhead collection.

    thanks for viewing/commenting!

  • my cousin has thousands of arrowheads all found in central Neb, even found a steel arrowhead that traders used to trade with local indians

  • @vestenamer

    Thanks for watching and commenting...

  • that last point was heat treated and looks like keokuk chert from Oklahoma perhaps! cool find

  • Yeah it's heat-treated, but it's local Prairie Du Chein chert. Thanks for watchng and commenting!

  • what state is this ?

  • Southern Wisconsin, Chris. This is a very special site (obviously!) with everything from Clovis, Folsom, Plainview, Agate Basin, Hardins, Greenbriers, Pine Trees, and the rest through Middle and Late Archaic, Woodland, and Mississippian. As a bonus, it even has the remains of an early farmstead, where I find really old buttons, clay pipes, clay and glass marbles, old doll parts. Best site EVER!!! Thanks for watchin!

  • Awesome finds - congrats!!!!

  • Thanks for watching and commenting Treasure! More to post soon...

  • Thanks for sharing!

It's very addicting to hunt points and

    Also to make them!

  • Thanks everyone for watchin my videos. I'd like to explain some of the choppy editing. I love to see vids with broad pans of a whole site, too. But some of my sites are just so distinctive, and very near cities, so I gotta edit out some of the "dead giveaways" so my competitors can't find my sites! Sorry! But like all of you, I don't have much interest in collecting somebody else's footprints! ;) That ain't NEAR as rewarding as collecting points in a virgin field.

  • Great finds! My wife says you should wear a hat to protect against the sun...

  • Thanks for watchin, David. And do pass on my sincere thanks to the wife for her concern. She's right, I know. ;)

  • nice video . i useually find about 5 to 10 broke points per i whole point when hunting a plowed feild. keep posting the videos...
