@DigitalDoor1 they weren't gay, "the house" was simply a getaway for people to have a good time, not some gay club. That's a very stereotypical comment.
@deadmau5suckz You are stupid as fuck. Music can't have a sexual preference, electro house is known more in the gay community than techno. Heavy Metal is quite pansexual if you haven't realized. And guess what on top of it all no one cares about your music preference, nor the fact that you think techno is gay. You have the gayest appearance so far out of this whole page.
From the first night The Electrofying MOJO first played "Alleys of Your Mind" by Cybotron in back in 1981, (As the audence gasp or even think "That's before I was born') to this minute listening to this one now, Techo has been a part of the music scene. There are many branches of Techno, just like Rock, Soul, Pop,Rap, and so on. Some of you debate about this title? If you are Techno, then you will get the title. I'm going to Detroit to find the vinyl of this one, then bump this loud in Cali!
guerilla warfare through what? deejaying? give me a break. this militant detroit crap is evenly worse as our happyhardcore back in the day. so fake. the music is good tho..but the scene is fake.
I like it... Its pretty raw and wonked out. A lot of Techno lacks that grit these days... Sounds as though its made in somebodies bedroom... Just how it should do... Reminds me of the Detroit of old. Thanks for the enlightenment :)
tracks kinda wack. i like though how scan 7 is a true mover and keeps it real on all fronts. I picked up you have the right at demf couple years back.
this tune ruins techno though! Its like some piss poor 2 unlimited joint...the purity of Detroit techno still comes from the those great tracks of 87' onwards and not the ugly German vibe ..peace
Understandably, this is not the easiest techno to listen to. but check out some other scan 7 stuff. You will get their point, and why they made this track they way they did. They meant it to be stark, to the point, and not necessarily "enjoyable". Scan 7 is a legend in Detroit, seriously, more for what they stand for than anything. Don't judge from one song.
@pgsdi I agree with you 100% on the D being the home of the realness, but to dismiss European techno like that smacks of ignorance I'm afraid, bear in mind that plenty of European records get played by Detroit heads and vice versa...
Europemay not have Jeff Mills, but Detroit doesn't have Surgeon...
the reason is because unfortunately, this country is filled with an over abundance of un-evolved humanoids who cannot let go of their precious guitars, ridiculous 3 chord melodies, and meaningless, overused, unimaginative, cliche' lyrics. They refuse to look to change, true "progression," and the goldamn fawkin FUTURE. However, it is up to us to keep trying to press forward, not give up, and not get lazy, not give in, not compromise, not conform.
Let Techno die ....... it will remain underground :D

@freeeekyyy can't agree with you on that one. This soundtrack has a simple sound compared to 90s rave music.
