  • This is where Disney got the idea for 'Brave' from

  • wouldnt want that horse charging a me O.o

  • Fudge you can see why they were so effective in battle ay? One of those running towards you are bloody SCARY! eek! Beautiful horse!

  • Beautiful horse!

  • Can we see some more of him please, only a little closer instead of him running away from the camera? He's a beauty.

  • @killaoflimmus lots more of him in my other videos ;-) x

  • WHy do u have red hair just asking?

  • @Barrelrider4life.. why not.. I live in the u.k you can have what ever colour you want.. no-one bats an eyelid :-) x

  • I've never thought about re-enacting a medieval battle with my ardenne. Off to buy myself a lance ;)

  • Wow...what in the world did Albert feed Joey!?!?!?!?!!!?

  • @SeeYaOnSondee

Been having a badday and that just cheering me up. Hilarious :)

  • @Pintomare11 Aww thank you ;) Glad I cheered you up!

  • Can anyone imagine getting run-over by that beast??? Whow, Lord of the Rings 3 flashback...

  • Have you tried bareback ? Sensations are enhanced ! Your horse is wonderful. Which breed ? Brabant, Belgian, Ardennes ? In any case, it's a big boy ! I love big drafthorses ...

  • I prefer the Freesian breed when thinking of reenactments of medieval combat

  • woah

  • SICK

  • Does this not remind anybody of Ganondorf?

  • OMG i want him!

  • OMG hes bloody huge!!!

  • He is lovely, but pretty big for an Ardennes type. Usually they are a bit smaller because they are used to move loggs in the dense woods

  • Ooo so pretty! :D

  • Thumbs up if you love the red hair C:

  • love it

  • Your horse is extremely beautiful! Just like an enchanting spell!

    Salam.

  • That's a hobbit horse.

  • the guy that is taking the video sounds like my uncle wayne...weird!!!

  • i have 2 ardennes, one i can ride, the other one has just had her baby boy and having loads of rest at the moment, there such nice animals :) yours is so prettyyyyy x

  • In my opinion, a horse is the animal to have. 1100 pounds of raw muscle, power, grace, and sweat between your legs - it's something you just can't get from a pet hamster.

  • love the reddish hair :D lol

  • Draft horses are my faves! Bar none!

My own, Zeus, is a percheron/TB - jet black, 17HH...

You & your horse are a great team!

  • looks really fun!

  • Wow! Red hair!

  • Awesome!

  • He's a beautiful horse.

  • What a beast! what a feeling of absolute power watching you. Forget the tiredness, if he wants to go let him go, you know him so you know if he is big and in shape or big and no shape. These are the equine defensive linemen, my favourite is nothing like this one but you have to give it to him, he is just striking, must be fun.

  • he is absolutely beautiful! and i love your hair!

  • I have never ridden a draft horse. What's it like compared to 14-16 handers?

  • sweet!loving the hair!

  • Wow fantastik

  • its like galloping a teddy bear hehehehe

  • holy thats a big horse lol I bet its gallop is soo easy to ride ?

  • @DeathKitty123456 Um, its a draft horse. They're bred for VERY HARD work and do so easily. Galloping around in a field is not going to tire it! lmao

  • omg stunning *-*

  • helmet?

  • hehe funny hair for a guy...

  • the essence of power

  • OMG SHE HAD PINK HAIR!! DID ANYONE ELSE SEE THAT

  • You people ARE aware that mammals will pant when running? The horse is fine.

  • Lorna Doone! How lovely! On my favorite playlist

  • @DeathKitty123456 He's fine but thanx for your concern =] what you don't see is the rest in-between.. and with my boy when he has enough he let me know and nothing you can do will make him move until he's ready.. when he see's a open field he gets excited and boy you try and stop him... he also pulls a cart which without me telling him loves to canter with it... these drafts are often used for carriage trials in Belgium

  • *_* amazing. what's the breed of this beautiful creature? is it a belgian draw horse? sorry i'm a newbie

  • @TheBlackestImp * draft

  • Dude...your...hair...is fricken...AWESOME! So is your horse.(:

  • this may have been asked before but i as wondering what breed is he?

  • @TheGypsyStarr and @TheBlackestImp Hes a European Belgian Draft- Ardennes type =]

  • he looks like hes floating across the ground.. gorgeous :)

  • Somebody somebody somebody needs to tell me how it is possible to sit comfortably on a galloping horse without bouncing around- because that's always what happens to me!

I've always loved the way draft horses look.

  • @DeathKitty123456 You don't need to stop as soon as a horse is puffing... this person wasn't working the horse to the ground, I'm sure he is fine.

  • @Kralisticat4 you don't need to but you should, like i said i am sure she cares for the horse and the horse is fine but if your horse is puffing it isn't fit for that work YET you should do fitness work to make sure your horse is fit enough for the workload i have a friend whos horse puffs after a walk out but he is slowly building it up, and i have heard of horses having heart attacks doing work they weren't fit for, i wasn't being mean just suggesting and giving my opinion

  • @DeathKitty123456 Just because a horse is puffing, esp a large horse after a run, doesn't mean they're done. You need to know your horse, breathing hard isn't the only thing to go on.

  • What fun!

  • Red head chick on horse, GIGGITY!!!

  • Such a fantastic horse!

  • it's like driving a train XD i love heavy/powerful animals, horses especially

  • Imagine feeling the power of that horse right under you. Beautiful.

  • what a lovely horse!!

  • Your horse is gorgeous!! You to look like your having a great time!!! ;D

  • you're horse is beautiful!!!!!

  • i love my heavies stunning animals xx

  • beautiful horse!!! how tall is he?

  • what a beautifully enormous animal.

  • That us a chunky horse!!

  • how adorable

  • beautiful horse and nice hair.

  • i've done this... funnest thing ever

  • how beautiful!!

  • I wish I could see the horse, but I can't get past the RED hair!! lol just kidding!

  • woaaah wouldnt want to get run over by that :O he's gorgeous

  • This is crazy it looks like something that would be in a game hahaha

  • Ah, I love him and your hair!

  • Haha I never seen one gallop ..always hualing

  • That's some wild red hair you have there.....

  • I love your video...I have an 18 hh black percheron...canter is kind of rough but fun to ride.

  • Helmet next time?

  • That was brilliant. I'm always fighting with the dressage queens who insist my perch/standardbred cross will never be forward enough for dressage.

  • Comment removed

  • it's so cool to take a ride with a draft horse ;) that power of muscles is simply magnificent. <3

  • How did you get a draft to do a full gallop? I ride a Friesian/Percheron cross and he has a pretty good, outstretched canter, but I've never gotten a real gallop. Maybe I just haven't had the space to really try. Those big legs sure do cover a lot of ground! Beautiful video, by the way. I love your hair. xD

  • @ObsidianDeathStone to be honest he's not really going at his full gallop as he was having one of his 'lazy' days, usually theirs a lot more power in him but where's a camcorder when you need one lol.

when I'm out in a large field i have now taught him the word CHARGE! and boy does he do that..trouble is he gets inpatient and jigs a lot while waiting for the magic word but he's a blast and I love him to bits=]

  • @monkeemoo I LOVE that! It's nice to see people using their drafts for more than just driving and really loving them like they desrve. They seem to be kind of overlooked in the horse world, but they are truly amazing.

  • That's a fatty horse what is he ?

  • @hatetorture A DRAFT! didnt u read the title? haha :)

  • @hatetorture

Shhh... don't let charger hear you say that... that's solid muscle that is ;)

  • wauw that must be comfortable

    he is absolutly gorgeous

  • That's super cute!

  • canter ! well ridden though

  • If he were mine id name him Teddy Bear teddy 4 short hes so cute

  • he's gorgeous love ur hair too :)

  • Hes Stunning! Must be a Pleasure to ride such a Chunky Horse. Absolutely Love Chunky Horses. Very Lucky :]

  • quite a chunky horse! he's absolutely beautiful! nice riding:)

  • That big guy's so cute. I'd love to do some medieval things with my steed too. He's a draft pony.

  • omg that horse is a beast!!!

  • this just looks bad ass. i love it. :D

  • i thought bigger horses are used for moving carriages! lol

  • @Roxygirl996 Oh yes he pulls carts too... check out my other vids of him... he's a horse of many talents =] x

  • @monkeemoo Is it hard to break or gentle a draft horse and saddle train them as far as riding goes is it the same and what did you use for breaking did you break gentle tame or what just wondering

  • @AmericanPitbulls1 With Charger he was very willing and just wanted to please, if he was ever frightened or confused about what you was asking he would just stop and wouldn't budge til you baby talked him round. He has never once tried to get me off, acted badly. he's been a dream to train but of course the key is get him to be your mate and trusting you..polos help lol. NEVER loose your temper as you don't want to lose his trust as to fight with this guy... well, he will win ever time =]

  • holy crap! haha he's huge!

  • Wow! Just...wow! Beautiful!

  • Are you cosplaying Axel from Kingdom Hearts? Just wondering~

  • @jessmart76543 if i knew who Axel was i might be... ;)

  • @monkeemoo You could almost be cosplaying any mideval character on that horse. Belgiam seems like a pretty country. Though there are areas of the American West that are just stunning, like Yosemite Nat'l Park. Seems he's enjoying the chance to stretch his legs a bit.

  • I LOVE YOUR HAIR!

  • so cool

  • Wow he's huge...what breed? I've walked with drafts, and their (or at least friesian's) gaits are smooth as I don't know what, galloping must be a totally different thing though lol

  • thats so cute :D who says they cant do anything apart from drive !! would love a heavy horse !!

  • Wow he/she is gorgeous! What is the monthly upkeep food and vaccine wise on a horse that large?

  • great horse!!!! luv your hair :D

  • Look at that big boy!

  • i love your hair!

  • Love your horse. Love your hair; Love this pair.

  • I have a heavy draft horsey and i love her to death do us apart and when all my friends are at the mall im either with my horse or thinkig about her she is my life :]

  • wow look at that monster! what a beautiful couple :)

  • You just taught me something haha idk about other countries really and the deal with auctions i live in the usa so yea but wow youve been around longer with horses longer than me! Haha :)

  • @ thefilalepisode... thanx his health is my top priority... i've had horses since i was 7 years old i am now 47 =O.. I brought him as a 5 year old 3 years ago, he had not long been through the Belguim auctions and shipped over to the u.k by a dealer... he was in a very sorry state, very underweight with dull rain rot scabby coat which was full of lice, he had a very swollen belly full of worms and was very bony and skinny...so hes in safe hands..oh yes hundreds of things can set off colic xx

  • @monkeemoo What kind of horse is he? He's absolutely beautiful!

  • @anahollar He's a Ardennes or European Belgian Draft =]

  • Haha ok :) thats good. Hes beautiful btw. :)

  • Ok good haha you sound like a good horse person then. Did you know if they arent cooled down after a long workout they can colic? He is beautiful btw. :)

  • @ thefilalepisode... hi T.F.E yes ofcourse this video is a selection of cuts all put together of just him running which he loves... the inbetweens are a lot of walking =] xx

  • Dont you let him rest? I hope you atleast cooled him down after all that he sounded out of breath.

  • wow Whoever in which horse in the way of which is nothing left

  • i bet he feels like a couch!

  • Such a lovely sight - but please, please - WEAR A RIDING HAT!

  • @dottykam Isn't that her own choice? I think it's your own responsibility. If she falls and breaks open her skull, that's her own fault...

  • its like thunder!!!

  • Is that a bear or a horse???

  • if you put on a black cape and mask with just your hair out and go riding later at night you could be know as the headless horsewoman!

  • dude!! That was awesome!! that reminded me of something so medieval!!! what a beautiful horse

  • Really nice horse, he seems happy and he is lucky to have a great owner. I did have a question thou about your horse, what is he? he looks like a brabant.

Are brabant, Ardennes, and Trekpaard the same horse, except different names? sorry if it sounds like a dumb question but the vids i seen of these horses all seem to be the same style.

  • @larasa007 Thanx

and basically yes.. they are but the American Belgian draft is bred to be a lot leaner therefore they call the European Belgian draft a brabant etc.. trekpaard is just Belgian for draft horse x

  • war horse!

  • It's like riding a freight-train! There is nothing like it! What a beautiful sight.

  • Charger is so cute. looks like he can do anything you want. very cool
