PBS IS public television & it there that shows like Sesame Street thrive, because educational entertainment is their purpose, unlike the brainwashing tripe on most cable/satellite networks. Government props up PBS because it is a non-for-profit company that relies on pledge drives from "Viewers Like You".

Well I suppose it really isn't funny... but you know what is? The fact that I bust my chops by making animated videos and some of them take days to make and they only get about 100 views. Then I make this in 5 minutes and it gets 11,000 freaking views!!!... oh wait... that's not funny either.
