It's pretty simple you just need to measure your body, cut out that size from placemats and adjust as nessassary. Try not to copy the stormtrooper armor detail by detail cus only then you will have an option of putting your own touches to it!

Hi, a lot of people ask that of this film and it actually done with the basic vegas video 5.0. Now they have 8.0 but everything is pretty much the same. It should be a few hundred dollars for the new version but cheaper for the old. Hope that helps!

from random star wars and science fiction movies. You can get really creative. You know the sound that you hear when you see the trooper use two of his guns? That sound is from the game command and conquer, when you power up your power stations. :)

Hi, nice observation. There was no faces in the frame as I filmed it but it's cool to hear you looking closely. One thing to notice is that in a matter of minutes the day start to turn into night. We took a whole afternoon to film and it got dark fast!

Sure, I am always happy to help a fellow filmmaker/trooper out. Just go under file and select "Render as" Then a window will pop out asking you to name it and select the conversion format. Try to use .wmv if you can becuase it creates a smaller file. But if you want to print to tape, use .avi , that way your print to tape software will be able to recognize it. Hope that helps!

Great glad you enjoyed it! Episode II clonetroopers's helmet and armor is based on Jango fett's design. Actually Lucas wrote that Jango helped designed the suit to put the republic to war. Cool stuff!!!

Thanks for the comment. The story is that the clone commander started to turn "bad" and tried to kill the jedi. and so they had red laser fire. Also the reason why the trooper walked slowly is because the costume was so uncomfortable! :)

xD Indeed! Quite a unique melding of Sci Fi weaponry... I found particular interest in the base weapons and objects used in Star Wars their props; SGT-44 for rebel blaster rifle, a C-96 Mauser for Han's blaster, a camera flash for Luke's lightsaber, and so on. Cool stuff.

Pretty cool, I felt that the laser pistol was good except for one detail, a laser gun doesn't have gun shot explosion effects because there's no gun powder going off in the chamber of the gun, other than that superb movie. I'd give it a 9/10.

Oh yeah, I should have added... challenge your team again, to re-work / re-edit your original sequence, and make it tighter and tighter. Reconsider how shots were edited together to make sure you've got the best sequences. The thing (I feel) needs to be sped up, so that it gets to the fight quicker? I would then throw in the challenge of doing a film that is SciFi, but doesn't reference "StarWars"... your own idea? Cheers.

I understand the time it takes to make even a short piece... but, I thought I'd throw in a few crits (hopefully) for your improvement.

Steady the camera (even with a stick... seriously!... still pivots, doesn't bounce... tripod better); continuity of shots (troopers get gun out, then walks without, then has again); tighter edit (take a second or two of each shot); thinner laser fire, and speed up (use motion blur on fx sw to add blur)... cool vid, keep filming!
