No. The first cops on the scene said it was suicide. It was never investigated as a murder. The Seattle Cops really dropped the ball on this one.
Many times homicides are covered up by making them look like suicides. Once something has been labeled a suicide, there is no investigation.
Kurt's case deserves a second look for many reasons.

from all the shit i heard about her i decided to find out for myself, and she started doing interviews again she seems like a really kind person in my opinion, yes she's had problems but doesnt everyone, she isn't perfect, but at least she's trying to get back on her feet these days, i agree cobain was the father of her kid why would she kill him, but i do think something went wrong with kurt as he was planning on retreating music.
