Hm well you dont know what she is doing her lesson. The first part was great but my trainer sometimes tells me to stay in 2 point your supposed to stay in two point through bounces retard. Theres not stride, only 2 feet are on the ground at all times

@blackmagik720 thats only some hunters though. i definetly agree that there are some hunters that are going to fall if the horse does anything bad, but there are also some really good hunter riders :)

Even if you are doing Hunters, you should not be leaning this far forward.

Stay in correct huntseat and don't lean even more forward before the jump, it puts alot of weight on the horse's front end, and with a horse sensitive to stuff like that she/he WILL be likely to refuse. If you are jumpers...well..there is no reason for you to be that far forward.

Practice jumping with your butt in the saddle, it will help tremendously.

Other than that, your jumping position was flawless.

in my riding lesson, while we canter i always have a hard time keep my seat soft. My butt is always slamming down in the saddle and making the horse canter even faster. I've been trying really hard to stop that, but i always end up in my 2 point, do you have any ideas or tips on how i can stop?
