  • the only reason she leaned forward was because she was anticipating the jump. i do that to. by the way thanks for not hanging on her mouth while trying to slow fancy down over the jump. even if she was leaving you behind a little. great riding!

  • @lululemonluver3 as much as i value your (obviously very competent advice) it is indeed fancy jumping. the pony is named fancy and she is jumping. thus fancy is jumping. thank you for your opinion though, please exit stage left.

  • BTW that's not fancy jumping

  • You lean fprward at the trott... alot. But otherwise, DAMN girl that's amaZing

  • jw is ur horse taking off to soon i want to be an instructor and i think im starting to reconize mustackes in horses and riders. u did really good though just asking about the horse

  • why are you tipping so bad?

  • he stretches out ALOT over those jumps if you put a pole on the landing sie it would help him gater up and male it easier but thats just a suggestion he is gorgeous though

  • that pony is one hell of a jumperr. your a good rider too! your shoulders are a bit far forward but other than that it looks really nice

  • your leanimg to much forward unless your doing 2point

  • How big are these jumps?

  • Lean Back a bit more especially after the jumps

  • ok just a few things to get you going, great jumps your pauster is a little forward but that might be for the horse if not try fixing it and it will make you look great for shows, i like the grid to it looked like fun, im a die hard for bouncers, an on your 3 stride he has a nice streach and really gose for it.

  • how long have u been riding for?

  • ya but other than that it was good =)

  • your postition is very nice.

  • Not really, because her shoulders are a little too forward ... But otherwise nice jumps!

  • You are a really good rider. I thin you rode that ponny very well and that is a beautiful farm ;) where is it?

  • i always say don't criticize if you don't know the horse

  • with som horses u hav to sit forward, my share horse has a bad back, but the best thing for her is jumping, but most the time i hav to sit in a light seat wen i jump her.

dont critize her u if u dont know the horse!!!!

  • well done that was great =) u were nice and light in ur seat before the jump awesome job

    great horse btw

  • Omigosh why does everyone criticize her? Maybe she is just learning or hasnt perfected her jumping seat yet. Not everyone is perfect. Great job though!

  • what r u al talking about with the "sit up!" she did great. u arent supposed to sit up with a combination like that.

  • she was wayyyy forward befor and after the jump

  • yaaa because it was a bounce combination. if she sat up in between chances are she would get popped right outta the saddle

  • but like 60 feet before!?!? she should be sitting up before the jump ad after

  • Hm well you dont know what she is doing her lesson. The first part was great but my trainer sometimes tells me to stay in 2 point your supposed to stay in two point through bounces retard. Theres not stride, only 2 feet are on the ground at all times

  • well... im not trying to be mean know ive been mean to some people but.... im not going to crit this any more because nor you or me have any right to say shes bad!! and shes not i couldn't do that jump since now my horse just got a cortizone injection and cannot be ridden for 10 days or jumped for about 2 monmths and for the record i wish we cou8ld be friends :)

  • I didnt say shes bad did I?

I wish we could all be friends too. :) BUT Some people are just rude. Im not saying you or anything but its physicly inpossible obviously haha But friends?

  • sure :) i subbed u

  • u need to sit up before the combination and after the combination u need to sit back again because if ur horse was to stop at the jump and ur not sittin back u will go right over his head. if u get that right u culd have alot of potential nice horse :) x

  • course is dumb

  • imma have to agree with everyone.

but u have a lot of potential.

    i can see it.

    ur horse is adorable tho.

and this is a really cute video.

    oh.

and u also have really nice e.q.

    but nice video! :)

  • sit up before the jump and quickly after the jump. i dont think anyone that has said sit up meant sit up in the combination!!

  • OMG!!!! this farm used to be monique kent's old farm!!!! and that trainer is Jamie T..... right? we used to ride there!!!!! :)

  • cool pony but try to sit back!!! =)

  • try sitting up more to get him to extend a bit more and to keep you and your horse in balance

  • but after the combination he/she needs to sit up again..

  • ridingatsilverfox, in a comination your not suppose to sit up :P

  • you need to sit up and get your seat down in your saddle

  • Clearly riding a hunter! You don't know what your talking about.

  • wow, a horse that watches where it puts its feet! nice!

  • your pony has amazing position over the jumps same for you.!!!!

  • Sit back!!

  • I'm with u on that. I do the same thing.

  • LOL Thats Pony Is Flying lol.

    V.Good !

  • nice pony!

  • your instructor is right, you need to be sitting back after the last jump, also you should try keeping him sort of tight before the last jump to be ready before he get quick

  • Great job! Just be sure to sit back after the jump

  • rember ur jumping not doing hunter and when u are doing a grid like that ukinda have to lean forward

  • jumping is hunter O.o

  • wow, you have perfect control! one thing i would say though is dont lean forward so much. if he/she refuses a fence and you're already well forward, then you're more likely to fall forward. you're great though! <3

  • You ARE good, you have a perfect control about your horse, just sit back a little bit because this way if a horse refuses it's harder to stay on... Apart from that, you're great.

  • wow, that looks like so much fun! =]

  • AMAZING job! Don't listen to these people that are telling you to lean back! I would strech up with you upper body a little more, but you NEVER want to lean back in front of a jump, that tells the horse to slow down, and not jump! I've learned that from experience. :P

  • when ur riding remember this song

    lean back lean back

  • Awwe cute horse! You are really good

  • lean back a bit... Your really good!!! lol!!! WB!!! xxx

  • good rider but i do not see the fancy jumpp.

  • umm the pony's name is fancy

  • i am an idiot. sorry for my idiocracy....u 2 are great together. is fancy urs? xx luvz to u both.

  • lol that is quite funny!

    soz...random!!!

  • @lafffaire92 hahahaha

  • NOTHING GOOD ABOUT IT!!!

  • nothing good about it? ill tell you whats good about it..she has great control of her horse. the jumps were great. i wouldnt be talking all i saw when i went to see if your videos were better was a about 2 dozen videos of little plastic horses. and one video of you jumping bareback like a foot high.. and i think you said in the description part of the video please no mean comments.. so if i were you i would follow my own advice! NO MEAN COMMENTS!

  • i see that all the time

  • omg! amazing form over the jumps!!! especially for an in and out grid line!!

  • nice line! gymnastics are tough, but you did it really well! :]

  • wow great job! but...sit up. if your horse were to stop suddenly in front of a jump-thats the end of you

  • nice grid i havent done one in soooo long!!

  • not being nasty cause your gd nd im no better jus he probly going faster cus while ur not jumping ur leaning forward but apart from that brill gd job :P x

  • OMG i love jumping like that lol . its super funn!

  • did u sell this horse to Bookmark Farms?

  • umm i'm not sure. we did sell her...is bookmark farms in pennsylvania?

  • okay cause go to my vids and watch the one that says at the show with my pony.

cause they look exactly alike! :]]

  • ohh ok no its not the same pony. from your description def. not because fancy jumps anything/everything. plus your horse is much smaller and her head is more refined...and mine has a lot more white on her face and is not chesnut, she's strawberry roan :)

  • ohh ok :]

well i was just checking cause they look very simliar

  • haha WOW talk about hard core hunter. See thats the thing that pisses my off about hunters. Your throwing your horse away over EVERY jump. Your not there at all. If that horse was to refuse or do any thing, you would go flying. IDC what any one say, there's NO reason at all to be laying on your horse neck like that.

  • WOW talk about hardcore bitch lmao. i have to disagree with you on a few points - namely that i would go "flying". the mare is not an easy ride and HAS stopped and i have never fallen off this horse, over a jump or otherwise. plus, in case you didn't notice, i did not ask for critiques AND this video is 2 years old

  • Wow way to be an ass, why do people have to be so rude on these, do you sit there and think of things to say just to piss people off or make them feel bad? So what she was a little foreward before it, she got through it just fine how would you recomend she do it. I love how everybody knows exactly how to ride somebody elses horse just from a video, and fuck you hunters are just as good as any other discipline, if you don't like it don't watch!

  • @blackmagik720 thats only some hunters though. i definetly agree that there are some hunters that are going to fall if the horse does anything bad, but there are also some really good hunter riders :)

  • Even if you are doing Hunters, you should not be leaning this far forward.

Stay in correct huntseat and don't lean even more forward before the jump, it puts alot of weight on the horse's front end, and with a horse sensitive to stuff like that she/he WILL be likely to refuse. If you are jumpers...well..there is no reason for you to be that far forward.

Practice jumping with your butt in the saddle, it will help tremendously.

Other than that, your jumping position was flawless.

  • Bounce Jumps and a related - combination fence, simple, fancy and great to jump =] x

  • wow you're a really good rider. hunter? haha

  • the pony was like "BOMB" lol. very good. you have a natural position

  • amazing!!

  • You have to go back after every jump,

  • It was a BOUNCE COMBO she would have lost the rhythm if she was flying forewards and backwards between jumps!

  • don't listen to what they say ur a great rider and you prolly were leaning forward a little because you are doing hunters

  • Just try sitting up a little more.. you're kind of perching on your saddle, and if your horse was to stop or anything, you would probably be caught off balance. Other than that you're an amazing rider!

  • sit up dammit!!!

  • you need to sit up more and then you will look amazing

  • That girl/boy is a really good jumper

  • yea your really good

you do need to sit up more tho cause you look more like your doing xc

  • belle you will get more replies if you MAIL the person this is like the fifteenth time ive seen a comment on a horse jumping vid and no one ever answer so try mailing them.

  • yerr eq and jump position are amazing<3! great job! awesome little gymnastics/grid! :]

  • Hey i am making a video on showjumping and was wondering if i could please use this video in it? Please reply :) thanks Belle

  • idc if you use it...but this is not show jumping and this is not a show jumper

  • You're a great jumper! You need to sit up a bit more though especially around those turns! I love the colors of those standards the blue and turquoise! :P

  • really good..

id just open ur shoulders over the jump.

i d o teh same thing, my intructor is always on my ass bout it haha.

  • that was amazing! you are definitley a talented rider! you and that pony are perfect togetherr!

    umm...i have a question.

anyone can reply! the more the better!

in my riding lesson, while we canter i always have a hard time keep my seat soft. My butt is always slamming down in the saddle and making the horse canter even faster. I've been trying really hard to stop that, but i always end up in my 2 point, do you have any ideas or tips on how i can stop?

    thanks

  • Just realx and move your hips with the saddle and make sure to keep and strong leg on! and of course sit up, hope i am of at least a little help!

  • thanks so much! i'll try that on tuesday when i ride.:)

  • No problem!! Hope it helps, good luck!

  • thanks, i'll let you know how it goes:)

  • okay sweetness!!!

  • i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove how u jump .u guys are a perfect team

  • nice riding!!!!! i luv ur pony

  • who is your trainer she is so mean!

  • lmao are you kidding what part of this video is mean? my trainer is amazing and one of the funniest people on the planet......also one of the best pony consignment trainers in the country..

  • okay seriously, all trainers are like this (mine included) they just want you to be safe and to keep the horse safe

    and win...

  • Wow if you think shes mean, you should hear my coach during a lesson, youd shit yourself!

  • God job! sit up strighter, when trying to slow your horse down. But wow, that looks really good! well done, how high were the jumps?

  • nice job through the first three. just try to sit up more to the fourth, since its longer than a stride.

  • very nice! Try not to roach your back...use your seat more, and sit your shoulders back.

  • not to be mean or anything but u should try to sit up more and slow down tht pony

  • very nice

  • i hateee gymnastics, nice job

  • wow 3 jumps and den a 4th in goen try dat on my pony

  • im not criticising you just hopefully giving you constructive criticism, but you should try to sit up more in trot and canter as when you lean forward the horse takes this as a signal to go faster, if you sit straight and actually on the saddle you might have more control over the speed of your horse

  • Don't know how to say it right in English, but your body is not good when you're riding to the 'Jump'.

    To much 'forwards'.

  • its called 'two point'

  • aww that pony is gorgeous =] haha =]

really speedy -x- i agree with xXdanterocksxX on some things - but u did well :-)

please comment on my horse videos of me nd friends riding xx thanks xx emily xx

  • You really need to sit up when you are going around and through your line. Also i dont know how you have been taught but according to george morris it is not good to over exxagerate your fold. I really dont want to be mean and that is not what i am getting at but he considers it a cardinal sin or riding. Please dont get all mad because of what i said either.

  • its called 2point, lots of riders do it

  • Its only good to be doing a two point in between jumps and a couple of steps after the jump not when posting or recovering from a jump. She needs to sit up more and go into her seat to get him to slow down. Otherwise she did fine.

  • cool jump!

  • isn't this pony on Horsetopia? What's it's name...is it for sale?

  • its name is Ruby Slippers aka Fancy and no she's not for sale

  • that looks rely fun!

  • nice jump!!

    nice possition also!!

    is he/she yours?

    xxxx <3

  • your fold is so automatic! great position... very nice :D

  • nice job cute pony

  • thanks she's much nicer now ;)

  • kool jump

  • nice jump lolzz:)
