people pay more attention. as you could hear the rsx is hitting 2step meaning it is tuned on either kpro or something. rsx-s with boltons and tune put decent power down. its not always how many hp you have. weight makes the biggest difference in races.
@przfinest1 nah that rsx had shit done to it. im sure it was a stock g 37. if they were both stock then the G37 would win. i have an rsx and have raced a G35 and it was a good race. the G35 wasnt pulling away. i was barely keepin up hahaha
@przfinest1 The driver did an excellent job. It's a stock G37 vs a modified RSX-S. It's true stock vs stock the RSX would be stomped but not stock vs modded.
Stock for stock, a G37 spd can break into the high 4s in a 0-60 sprint; a stock RSX-S will be at least 1.5 seconds slower. The RSX-S is the performance equivalent to the current Civic Si, not a bad car, just not best in class when stock.
@Snookynibbles not completely right. i have a 06 jgm type-s with just a borla catback and I'm wrecking on Si's all day. of course not by a lot but weight makes difference. also my pops has a g37s, which would smoke both the si and type-s on the straight, but they are hella heavy and have some body roll. rsx would kill both in autocross

Looks like the G37 is bone stock.The RSX S must have some engine mods and a decent driver because there is no way a RSX would beat a G37 considering FF are slower to accelerate off the line than a FR.Plus the G37 is significantly heavier.
Stock for stock the g37 blows the rsx away. Trust me I own a type S RSX and raced one. It wasn't a killer but I still lost. After I finish building my engine it will be a different story.

thats not a body kit on the rsx, its a lip kit and its the usdm acura lip kit (not to be confused with the jdm type r dc5 lip kit) its also 02-04 rsx only 05-06 looks diff. And this russian guy doesnt know what hes talking about. i build engines, the only reliable import at high psi like 20 is a nissan motor like a 240 or a old toyota like a supra or the lexus is300. american cars cant hold mush psi, sure if they were built. not to mention american cars dont rev high stock

I pulled a 14.1 in my stock 2004 5AT G35. There is no way this G37 can't run faster than a 14. The driver of the G37 either got a bad launch, doesn't know how to shift, or was half asleep.
@H1mynameisLarry uhhhh have you watched any of the races on speed? a lot of the circuit racing they do is with fwd cars. they are much more predictable and easily countered in the rain. Any of the Time attacks contain FWD cars as well, actually, the best car in the game right now is a scion TC, which is FWD. don't be mad cause i speak facts.
@andrew1501 The Scion TC is naturally slow. Those cars are extremely fixed up from performance to exterior. At the end of the day, it's still a Scion. If you have that much money to put in a Scion tc, might as well buy a car with some actual performance.

@rsxzx6r If you own a FWD, you shouldn't waste money on it to make it fast. Chances are the FWD is a gas saver car and you are going to ruin the mileage. An example of a good import tuning car is a Supra. Not a girly Scion tc or Civic or RSX. There is nothing special about a 4cyl taking on 6 or 8, you fixed it up.. of course it can. If you fix up an 8 cly, it can take on super cars .. and your point is? FWD is to save gas my mom's Honda CRV is FWD. : P

people pay more attention. as you could hear the rsx is hitting 2step meaning it is tuned on either kpro or something. rsx-s with boltons and tune put decent power down. its not always how many hp you have. weight makes the biggest difference in races.

Stock for stock, a G37 spd can break into the high 4s in a 0-60 sprint; a stock RSX-S will be at least 1.5 seconds slower. The RSX-S is the performance equivalent to the current Civic Si, not a bad car, just not best in class when stock.

Looks like the G37 is bone stock.The RSX S must have some engine mods and a decent driver because there is no way a RSX would beat a G37 considering FF are slower to accelerate off the line than a FR.Plus the G37 is significantly heavier.

thats not a body kit on the rsx, its a lip kit and its the usdm acura lip kit (not to be confused with the jdm type r dc5 lip kit) its also 02-04 rsx only 05-06 looks diff. An example of a good import tuning car is a Supra. Not a girly Scion tc or Civic or RSX. There is nothing special about a 4cyl taking on 6 or 8, you fixed it up.. of course it can. If you fix up an 8 cly, it can take on super cars .. and your point is? FWD is to save gas my mom's Honda CRV is FWD. : P

@rsxzx6r So what if its faster then a lambo. U can make ANY car fast. Doesn't make this RSX any special. You can make a SMART quarter faster then a lambo if you put enough money in it. But imagine TUNEING a LAMBO. That would MURDER your CUTE ASS FWD RSX. You still to fail to answer me why are all the hybrids and gas saver are FWD ? Scion Tc, Civic, Camry etc etc. That's why they discontinued the cute rsx for the RWD tsx right? hahaha FWD is piece of shit. It should nothing else but ur commuter.

I own both RSX and TSX and they are both FWD. All newer Honda cars are FWD Except for the NSX and S2000, and if you dont know this now you will..... ACURA IS HONDA!

I have a friend that owns a 2006 RSX TYPE S and he can't even beat me in my commuter car, the Nissan Maxima. FYI, a Nissan Maxima is a full sized family sedan FWD. There is no way in hell you beat me in your cute RSX Automatic girl 150HP FWD car. You own a 16 second quarter mile car, you can't even beat a Camry so shut up with your gay fwd car.

Whoever owns a FWD and tries to race it is an idiot is all i gotta say. How do I know? I drove my friends slow 2006 RSX TYPE S and one of the cars i own (Maxima) is fwd. I always wondered what the "S" was for in the rsx.. it does a stock 15 second 1/4 mile when it weighs so little what is the regular one? 18 seconds?! LMFAO

@jokerbaby2 First of all, A G37S runs 13.5 STOCK. a STOCK TYPE S runs about 15 STOCK. This "FIXED" up piece of shit fwd girl car did a 14 second. A fixed up RSX TYPE S can't even beat a STOCK g37S. Green cars cannot beat my 'pos cadillac' when they are stock. When you fix up your FWD girl car, it will not get good gas mileage with all that power JUST like the STOCK cadillac that has GOOD power you retard. You must have a girl fwd car. People who race with FWD can't afford REAL RWD race cars. : )

@rsxzx6r Let me break it down to you. FWD = Are mostly gas green friendly cars. FWD = Slow cars. FWD = equipped on almost ALL hyrbid cars. Acura RSX = Female oriented cute car. FWD = People who can't afford a RWD car and tune that up. FWD = Sucks at anything over 140MPH. FWD = sucks at hills FWD = EXCELLENT AT SLOW SPEEDS FWD. The end.

@weigraf34 You can mod a Smart car and make it faster then a Lambo, it isn't better handling or looking or manlier then a Lambo. A fwd WILL NEVER be able to MOD to performance in HANDLING verse a RWD. A FWD WILL NEVER be able to MOD for TOP end over 160 MPH hahahahaha. I have a g37 coupe. Go google 'Is Rsx a girls car' we have a lot of confused people wondering if they own a girl car. LOL!!!!!!!

@weigraf34 Stock G37 Coupe 13.5 seconds. Stock RSX coupe = 15 seconds modded RSX type S = 14.0 seconds. Still fail at modding. You bought a lot of POS car. Look what you are in at the end of the day. And you beat them in a STRAIGHT line.. get it right. Why wont you take it to the hills with your girly fwd car. Most people drive fwd cause its easier to learn to drive. My other car, Nissan Maxima would walk all over your girly car fwd vs fwd BUT you will NEVER be able to modd your car that can handle in the hills or have any top end like a rwd.
