Would you happen to know anything about the Kodak Brownie 8 Movie Projector: Model A-15? I got one a couple days ago and the knob to turn it on is stuck :(
Did you change the switches on your projector? I always have trouble with getting the lamp to stay on. The switch is worn out. I have two Kodak Brownie projectors and they both have the same problem.
There is NO sound. 8mm film was for silent movies only. There were some Super-8 cameras that used a sound track (either a sound track that was on the edge of the film, or a separate sound tape, kind of like a tape recorder). But Regular 8mm film, like the kind this projector uses, did not have sound.
hey i have a Bronie 310 movie projector model A4 it is very similar to the one you have and everything works....do you have info when they were made and how much they are valued at?

i have a kodak brownie eight 58 projector but im not too sure on how to put the film in the projector and mine isnt too different from yours. could you please give me some advise or make a video of yourself putting some film in this projector
I don't know of any local shops where you can get a bulb for the projector. But you can find it online. Apparently, it uses a fairly common bulb. Just do a search on Google for "Kodak Brownie film projector" and "bulb." I did find a website that had all kinds of different bulbs, even bulbs for projectors. But I don't know where it was. Just look on Google and you should find it.
Also, are you sure the bulb is bad? It might be the switch. The switch tends to wear out on this projector.
Does anyone know how old this is?

Where or how do you get the sound on? Is there a knob somewhere or is that a seperate unit?
