i totally get the boutique nature of pgs and i love seeing and hearing guitars and amps that i otherwise probably wouldn't, but i found pgs because of their pedal demos and thats mostly why i watch. that being said, for the purposes of demoing pedals i wish they would stick to fenders or gibsons and the DRRI since i think most people know what that combination sounds like and can really tell how the pedal will change their sound which is the point of watching a demo after all.

@seth3556r Actually, I've played Zep on a Schecter C-1. It sounded good. You can play "shred" metal as you call it on a Strat, too. Try djenting with a Strat. The instrument doesn't matter nearly as much as the guitarist behind it.
