This goes from being "a pretty nice tune" played by Fox on his studio recording of it, to a *painfully* beautiful rendition here.

It just lopes along patiently at a slower tempo, with her milking every morsel out that one could ever hope to. This is Tony McManus quality here.

Love the timbre, don't like the way the setup is low EQ'd. Maybe dip the thing in some more ammonia, or hold it next to your car's exhaust for further fuming. And of course the video noise is a bummer.

I'm glad you like the video. The amp I was using was just an old Peavey XR680E and two 12 in. 112TLS Peavey speakers. I found this system at a yard sale last summer. It was stored in their garage and was kind of dirty and rusty. It cleaned it up pretty well. It's just sitting on the floor next to me and I'm using a flat EQ. The pickup in my guitar is a Fishman Ellipse adjusted to about 3/4 mic and 1/4 transducer. I still have to play with it a little more to achieve the sound I want.

@busker12 Thanks for the in depth description of your setup. I am familiar with your Peavey equipment because I do repairs on a lot of Peavey stuff for our local music store. That was a good yard sale find :-) I use my Peavey acoustic combo amp sometimes when I play out. Perhaps I'll try using my small mixer along with my amp for my next upload. Your guitar amp and mic combination sounds very good. ~Bob
