  • 165 million oz is close to 5,000 tons of scrap silver being reused

  • BS

  • good vid what i like about this is untill silver is 50 bucks recycling it is bearly worth it so silver will hit 50 funny thing no one understands silvers high was 50 everyone seys 26 to 28 but it was 50(just look it up),so if silver hits 50 what do you think inflation rates will be considering last time it hit 50 was in the 80's so easaly we are looking at 150

  • Um your math is pretty off. How can you say that 889 million ounces of silver is only 9-15 tons? Can you clarify?

  • @nlucctw2 I don't have time to ans petty questions from a vid I made in Sept 2010! Since you know the answer why don't you just share it with the world and leave it at that.. Sorry I sound arrogant, but I had a bad day! So be it! Every one does right?

  • @Silverbuzzsuccess

In reply to others' questions and some of your comments, you say: 160 MIl. Oz. of silver = 5 tons.

    Let's see: 5 tons, 2,000 pounds per ton. 5 x 2000 =10,000 pounds. 10,000 pounds, 16 oz. per 1 pound.

10,000 x 16 = 160,000 oz. The numbers you cite from the silver institute are listed in millions. The correct numbers are for anyone out there:

160 Mil. Oz. / 16 oz. per pound = 10 Mil. pounds. 10 Mil. pounds/2,000 pounds per ton = 5,000 tons of silver, not 5.

  • After you made this miscalculation, you lost all credibility in my book. A mistake to avoid in future videos because I agree that we should all buy silver.

  • @LivingthaDreem Do you think I give a dam!

  • Very good! 163 k ons compare to 22 tons.

  • this was one of the most information packed 3 minutes on you tube. Thank you sir for the free education.

  • @SurvivalWithBushcraf Thank you.. My best vids are yet to come! Enjoy

  • Also consider the fact that most people have already cashed out their available gold and silver "scrap", so that large percentage of 28% for gold cannot remain that high. Also, banks are hoarding and no longer selling, so you will have a big supply shortage of gold........and that applies to silver too. The miners cant keep up, so the prices will have to soar.
