@427TTM6 They used a regular ACR, They're few differences between the ACR X and the regular ACR anyway. The ACR X (to my knowledge) had the catalytic converter removed and and a few components taken off to lessen the weight compared to the street-legal production ACR.

@SNYDED2 Might wanna look again dude. The ZR1 is faster BUT the 2009 Viper just raped both of em at the Ring. GTR ran a 7:20, the ZR1 ran a 7:19 (conservative driving) and the Viper ran a 7:12.
Thats pretty bad considering that the zr1 costs more and had two extra cylinders. Also the gtr set that time in the wet. So dry track would probably put it ahead of the zr1. The viper has race compound tires... give the zr1 and gtr race compound tires and i know they'd be right on that viper's heels.

Dude the SRT8 Grand Cherokee is 55 grand, with suspension, weight reduction, forced induction, and supporting engine mods required to reach 1000+ whp...You'd hit 75 grand easy and since custom work NEVER goes as planned, you're looking at 80-90k to buy jeep and make it that fast. Problem with that is, now you have a jeep that's crazy fast with an engine that probably wont last a year. And it may beat a stock GT-R in a 1/4, but it will NEVER drive like a Nissan

But the Nissan is designed to be driven that way, the Jeep can't take the pressure 1000hp will put on it for long, especially since its probably running 20+ psi. No engine could.
@xXSinisterDeviceXx The same goes to the GTR too. People here keep harping about Veyron being way more expensive and they can buy a tuned GTR for a much less price and much better performance. Problem with that is, the GTR's engine wouldn't last past a few months, and I've not mentioned the gearbox and the drivetrain yet. And it may beat a STOCK Veyron in a 1/4 mile, but it'll NEVER drive and NEVER have the badge exclusivity of a Bugatti.
@rvind92g I agree to an extent, I feel that a tuned GTR will drive better than a Veyron(on winding back roads). But the badge exclusivity..you got me there. Although personally, I wouldn't want a bugatti, ever. Their performance doesnt justify their expense in my opinion.
Obviously the srt-8 engine is very powerful, that jeep just beat a stock GTR or it might have been the stage 1......anyway point is the jeep had the engine as advantage and the GTR had all the gizmo as advantage and the jeep won. if you tune up the GTR it should be able to handle the jeep.

@SNYDED2 Might wanna look again dude. The ZR1 is faster BUT the 2009 Viper just raped both of em at the Ring. GTR ran a 7:20, the ZR1 ran a 7:19 (conservative driving) and the Viper ran a 7:12.

Thats pretty bad considering that the zr1 costs more and had two extra cylinders. Also the gtr set that time in the wet. So dry track would probably put it ahead of the zr1. The viper has race compound tires... give the zr1 and gtr race compound tires and i know they'd be right on that viper's heels.

@allwheeldrive1 honestly, i love the gtr. looking to buy one soon. but there was a lemon law on the gtr's. the dual clutches were giving out, and the trannys were slipping at around 3,000 miles. but i do love the gtr.

And Japanese cars are actually the best selling cars right now. For example the top 5 cars sold in America this year are all Japanese. The GT-R is definitely one of the best cars when it comes to a drag race (stock). But it's the best when modified. Then the best track car is the Lexus LFA. Ignorance=stupid

@InfiniteWizdom4u I actually have respect for the LFA, one of the baddest car's I've seen since the SVT terminator. Another car that I have props for is the suby P2. But V8's swim in my blood. I also said nothing about the jeep being stock, its obviously modded to holy hell. USA has way to many restrictions from the EPA to release a completely ruthless car from factory. Even the ZR-1 is highly detuned from factory.

Dude the SRT8 Grand Cherokee is 55 grand, with suspension, weight reduction, forced induction, and supporting engine mods required to reach 1000+ whp...You'd hit 75 grand easy and since custom work NEVER goes as planned, you're looking at 80-90k to buy jeep and make it that fast. Problem with that is, now you have a jeep that's crazy fast with an engine that probably wont last a year. And it may beat a stock GT-R in a 1/4, but it will NEVER drive like a Nissan

@cadillacowboy1 Well how it drives has a lot to do with how fast it is. If you're like me and prefer twisting back roads to drag strips. But the Nissan is designed to be driven that way, the Jeep can't take the pressure 1000hp will put on it for long, especially since its probably running 20+ psi. No engine could.

@xXSinisterDeviceXx The same goes to the GTR too. People here keep harping about Veyron being way more expensive and they can buy a tuned GTR for a much less price and much better performance. Problem with that is, the GTR's engine wouldn't last past a few months, and I've not mentioned the gearbox and the drivetrain yet. And it may beat a STOCK Veyron in a 1/4 mile, but it'll NEVER drive and NEVER have the badge exclusivity of a Bugatti.

Obviously the srt-8 engine is very powerful, that jeep just beat a stock GTR or it might have been the stage 1......anyway point is the jeep had the engine as advantage and the GTR had all the gizmo as advantage and the jeep won. if you tune up the GTR it should be able to handle the jeep.
