  • Nobody is saying we must flood African countries with mass immigration to make them more multicultural. Nobody is saying we must flood Asian countries with mass immigration to make them more multicultural. Nobody is saying we must flood South American countries with mass immigration to make them more multicultural.

Multiculturalism and mass immigration into White countries and White countries only is GENOCIDE.

Anti racism is a code word for anti White.

  • @Alphaman7100 WTF has that bullshit got to do with greenpeace? Plus we dont need to flood them because there already flooded! South america has an almost 92% Of its population mixed race. Africa has got a vast percent of its population white or arab and asia has massave movement of people. Also most white people love there countries becoming more diverse and rascism free! Theres no genocide just movement of people. People like you are sick!

  • Awesome made !!!

    Awesome message !!!

    Well done !!!

  • Greenpeace, I hope you understand that clear-cutting trees is not the only problem there is with paper making. So many companies promote their products as being "environmentally friendly", but if you really dig into the details and use common sense, you'll see that it's only labeled as so. Kimberly-Clark is one of the many who is guilty of this. I hope you are also concerned about the water bodies which are invaded by the paper mills.

  • I'm an advocate of the destruction of the older trees that don't grow back fast (go Pine!!!)

but this is just plain ridiculous. . . . .

  • Interesting that Green Peace would use an Icon to manipulate the public. Doesn't seem like its really peaceful to take advantage of children's innocence threw a cute character. I think this is one of the most horrific forms of communicating. Its pretty much the same as a kid being mentally abused by a nasty mean alcoholic. Leave the innocence alone and find a way to get the point threw in a less harmful way.

  • @htvfd460 It's no different than someone taking their children to church and brainwashing them into being a christian. The only difference is that this message is a positive one that could potentially change the way we live in a positive way. So many different companies use childrens tv icons to sell their useless crappy products. Why can't Greenpeace do the same to promote sustainable living? I think it is a great move from Greenpeace.

  • fuck trees I wont leave that long to feel the negative efects of blowing my nose

  • Ugh.......

  • that was so awesome i laughed the whole time! lol

  • it's a asia film.

  • Oh and ExtremeXrider69. . .you put sixty nine in your name. . . .shut up! you should shoot your self with the shotgun on your gun rack in your pick up that's way too big for no reason cuz you don't do shit with it but ride around while thinking your sic!

  • Actually Kleenex is now working with groups like Greenpeace to eliminate old growth forests from their sources and impart post consumer recycled material in their products!! all due to Greenpeace> so i say thank Activism

  • yeah, thanks for the shitty tissues.

  • hahahhahahah this is so funny!!!! i hope they do one for cellphones and hamburgers tooo!

  • wow..... dumbass who made this needs to take shotgun to them self...

  • @ExtremeXRider69 why would they take a shotgun to themselves.

  • to improve the lives of people around them.

  • Is Walle singing too?

  • Trees are like potato's people plant them and then harvest them.

If there was no need for trees people woundn't plant them.

  • what about procter and gamble idiot charmin its paper or flowers ?

  • so you're saying kleenex is EviL

  • Come on Greenpeace.. The planet will outlive humanity and live will move on.. With a few million years of repairs perhabs but thats just an instant for the planets lifetime anyway..

  • I Love it! XD

  • This was stupid. I watched it only because I was interested in what it was about. Did you ever stop and think that the Wall-E tissue box was a promotional tie-in for the movie, not an attempt to make some sort of statement? Just enjoy the movie. Don't analyze every piece of merchandise surrounding it, trying to find something that doesn't tie in with its message! Wall-E was a brilliant movie, and it should be enjoyed as such. Using it in this manner dilutes its meaning, and makes it look silly.

  • The movie talked about real issues, and this is real. 4000 acres a day is not silly, and brand damage is a very useful tactic. Would you over look the message of this brilliant movie, and support Kimberly-Clark in the destruction of a 10000 year old biodiversity?

  • I don't think Kimberly-Clark, or even Pixar for that matter, saw the irony in having this promotional tie-in, as obviously, pixar had to approve the promotion, and design the box. It was Greenpeace who over analyzed it, and turned it into something more than it was. Also, not everything in Wall-E was an environmental message. There was brilliant social satire, romance, and excellent use of parodies and references. Wall-E was not just some SAVE TEH EARTHZ thing, so stop treating it like that!

  • wow these people are fucking stupid, groups like these and PETA are the reason the world is messed up, the world would be a better place without them

  • Wall-e dosn't belong to crappy green peace or crappy kleenex.

It belongs to artists at Pixar who made a beautiful film. Back the fuck off.

  • cut down all the trees

  • *yawn*

  • fuck u who ever cuts down treess'

  • @siannam13 lololololoolololololol

  • worst thing ever

  • You know, I was really excited to see the awesome message this was going to send... but Jesus tap-dancing Christ that song (if you can call it that) was intollerable. I can bear through a lot of things, but that was like nails on a chalk board. Holy God, please make a commercial that people won't skip through. This is an important message and it shouldn't be ruined like this!

  • Asinine swill.

  • So Greenpeace, what tissues should we use? Your infobox should list the alternatives.

  • Use any kind of Seventh Generation tissue. They are a little rougher, but they are 100% recycled.

  • this video is so misleading

yes we cut down trees for paper

we also plant trees to replace them, we arent stupid, if we dont plant more trees there wont be trees in the future to cut down

if you want environmental change it comes from economic policy, not some airy pansy environmental fascism

should we stop reading books too because theyre made of paper?

  • "yes we cut down trees for paper

we also plant trees to replace them, we arent stupid, if we dont plant more trees there wont be trees in the future to cut down"

Who is this enlightened "we" of which you speak? If humans weren't so stupid and short-sighted, there wouldn't be a NEED for environmental messages like this one. Our history, if you care to peruse it, is a clear example of how we regularly fail to take simple steps such as the one you described.

  • Most of the books I read are made from recycled paper.

  • I would not be surprised if we were witness to an effect similar to the 1920s' US dustbowl phenomenon.

  • esta bien el video pero creo que te pasaste en el final

  • LOL!!!

  • OmG! I almost cried when wall-e flashed us the puss in boots eyes! SOOOOOOOOOO cute

    SAVE THE TREES!

  • You tell them!!!! ;-D

  • I'm blowing my nose now. What am I supposed to use, blow boogers into my hand and wash it?

  • no just dont use kimberly klark products is what there getting at you can still use kleenex's theres lots of diffrent brands that use reycled paper just dont use PUFFS,SCOTTIES,KLEENX and if you have children in dippers dont buy HUGGIES,LITTLE SWIMMERS. HOPE this is a help any more questions just google "kimberly klark"

  • A HANDKERCHIEF WORKS NICELY

  • this is the 21st century, hankerchiefs are gross, you have to wash them and if your nose is really runny 1 little rag isnt going to help

  • grow up

  • I use hankies only!

  • BREATHE, now thank a plant!

FYI, our atmosphere was created by plants and trees absorbing carbon for MILLIONS OF YEARS

the forests are the lungs of the planet!

    p.s. nice job!

  • GREENFASCISM????????? Excuse me, but none of us care what you greenpeace haters actually think, and I think you'll be appreciative when greenpeace saves the forest, and saves your ugly butt from CO2 poisoning.

  • u go girl dude person i cant baleve this i use recycked tissue toilet paper greenworks cleaning proudcs they woork real well

  • this video is SUPPORTING the environment you dumb ass

  • I need to ask a question and please be assured that is not intended as a polemic. I'm allergic and very prone to colds. I therefore use loads of tissues. I use paper tissues because fabric tissues irritate my nose skin. Recycled paper tissues are not so common in Italy and quite hard: do you have any suggestion as per an alternative? Thanks.

And again, I'm really looking forward to an alternative.

  • this is total beast. EPIC WIN.

  • hey this is awesome check out my wall-e flash animation if you want

  • we need to stop kimberly clark!

  • @ratatouillegirl12 how ignorant are you?

  • ...the creators of Wall*E chose a conflict that would resonate with the public because we recognize the potential consequences of our neglect. My point is that, regardless of their intent, the creators made a romantic, environmental film. Toxicity, waste, and blind consumerism are undeniably central parts of the film. Most importantly, Kleenex is part of the problem. For them to use the movie to advertise their product truly is ironic.

  • Titanic wasn't really about icebergs, Casablanca wasn't really about Nazis, and Gone with the Wind wasn't about the Civil War. Popular love stories often take place in tumultuous scenarios. Wall*E took place in a world ravaged by human carelessness and selfishness. The major conflicts in these pictures drive the film and are responsible for their success. However...

  • Mark Fiore is was my math teacher...woah,haha

  • what a nice chance to be a responsible consumer.

  • :))

  • so i was reading all the comments for the video and it frustrates me that people can find reason to argue about the message. a few things, wall e IS an environmental movie, everything screams environmental. dont think so? take some classes. and secondly Greenpeace had an amazing idea with this. Kleenex brand does cut down trees in ancient forests, not tree farms. and ancient trees CANT be replanted. i know this cuz i worked on this project (Kleercut) with Greenpeace. read before you talk. :-)

  • I'd just like to say... whatever happened to handkerchiefs? You know, those tissues you can WASH and REUSE?

  • Great! Thanks... BH

  • .__________.;;; Well isn't THAT morbid.

When I first saw this, I thought it was going to be someone making fun of Wall-E (who ever gets a horrid idea like that should burn in Hell), but this makes such a good point.

If you are going to use trees for paper, you should replace the immediatly after. Otherwise, we'll lose all of own forests and animals living there.

I say, we should stop worrying about oil, get off our asses, and help the environment and the less fortunate. Seriously...

  • catchy =P

    lol

i knew wall-e would start some kind of movement or atleast be involved in one in a way.

    this is it

    eeeeva!!

  • lol I did watch the movie, WALL-E. Kinda saw the movie of the horrors of uncontrolled consumerism/capitalism in the movie but overall found the movie to be cute.

  • very good video :-)

  • Yes ,we must review our use of resources down to a tissue.

As much as conservatives love waste(waste equls more business), we must conserve, and think of it every momnet, until it is driven into our consciousness(Note to self).

  • Greenpeace is a great organization and im glad to see they are doing something about K-C. Rate and favorite please.

  • i love this :D

  • I have not used a kimberly clark product to my knowledge for about 3 years now. After I found out about what they were doing to the virgin forests and lack of concern.

and for those of you who dont know what a virgin forest is

virgin forest - forest or woodland having a mature or overly mature ecosystem more or less uninfluenced by human activity

these brands are all part of K.C. so please dont support them Cottenelle, Depend, Goodnites, Huggies, Kleenex, kotex, Pull ups, and Scott

    -DucKy

  • Pure genius, I can't believe anybody would be bashing this video. This is true people. Look it up.

  • I like the use of message initially portrayed in the movie and how it was used in this ad. We can say,"Oh this is stupid" or whatever, but when it comes down to it, our population's getting to big and it will eventually come to this. Oh well.

  • I actually JUST opened an account so I could comment on how dumb the last few comments on here are. First, of course Wall*E had a strong environmentalist message: the Earth is destroyed by lazy humans and nothing living remains on it. Could it be clearer?? Second, what I find "disturbing" (besides babycharmander's ignorance) is her comment that GreenPeace is a "random organization." It was formed in 1971 and is the world's largest environmental activism organization. Got edjumakation? Ugh...

  • Oi, oi, it's not an environmentalist film. Watch the video "The message of the Film" if you don't believe me. As a writer, I understand there being things in a movie or a book or whatever that people take as messages or whatever, but the author or director or whatever did not intend to put in there.

Also, the fact that I did not know what Greenpeace was until I saw this does not make me "uneducated." They don't generally teach you all the names of different activist organizations in school.

  • I always thought kleenex was cotton

  • I still like Wall-e. It was a great movie. It was a love story. not a message film.

  • The bases of it was indeed a love flim, but the underlying factor was that if we continue to abuse are Earth like we are doing now, we will not have enough room on Earth like they did in Wall-E; that's why they went to space to live. So when Eve came to Earth looking for any living green matter, she did find Wall-E. Story is viewed how you want it.

  • ...What's so ironic about WALL-E characters being put on kleenex boxes? The movie was not meant to be an environmentalist film.

Anyone else find it disturbing when random organizations use popular characters to promote their stuff?

  • few things..its ironic because wall e stands for the opposite of what Kimberly Clarke (Kleenex) does, which is cutting down ancient forests which cant be replaced.

second, it IS an environmental film. everything about it has reason and message.

and third, what "stuff" does Greenpeace have? there are no "greenpeace tissues". theyre a political organization which tackles environmental issues and actually works with companies to find compromising solutions. we dont always protest, we reason first

  • It isn't an environmentalist film--or, at least, it was never intended to be one.

  • Are you crazy? The entire point of the film is that the world became so toxic people couldn't live on it anymore, and instead of personally doing something about it, they left robots to do their dirty work. Even then, it took much longer than they had anticipated to finally get the earth to where it could be capable of supporting life again.

It's an environmentalist film if I've ever seen one.

  • No, I'm not crazy. There's a video here on Youtube called "The Message of the Film" or something to that effect, showing interviews with the creators of the movie on how the movie is NOT an environmental film and is simply supposed to be a love story.

  • I think the reason for this "message from the makers" is a bit of propoganda on the corporation's part to avoid appearing politically opinionated and thus turning away portions of their consumer group. They are stepping around the lable of "environmentalist" so as to broaden their marketability and appeal to all consumer groups ("environmentalist" and otherwise).

  • dont the trees come from tree farms? where they grow trees just for making things like tissue paper?

  • While a portion of the wood fiber in Kleenex comes from tree farms, the remainder comes from the boreal forests of northern Canada. But Kimberly-Clark refuses to use any recycled fiber in Kleenex at all, even though they could easily do so. How do I know they could include recycled fiber in Kleenex if they wanted to? Because they already include it in the consumer products they sell in Europe.

  • While this video isn't all that great and may be a bit extreme, the cause is good. I feel that people should be aware of this kind of thing, then maybe they can begin to make better choices about the products they buy, like recycled paper and what not. so before you dis the video, remember that it is for a good cause, as sucky as it may be, and that we do need to be aware of this kind of thing and start to fix it!!!

  • I can't believe people are bashing this video!

If we continue to carry on at the rate we're going, Wall E is our future.

I thought this video was an adorable way to get the point across.

    Kimberly Clark is pure evil!

  • pure evil? you're saying that just based on this video

  • jesus christ, this video sucked.

  • Ok, so the claims made in the lyrics are a little extreme and that can't really help convert anyone not already amenable to Greenpeace's cause, and the lack of details bother me. Still, it's as clever as most other videos of its type, though not nearly as good as the Meatrix series, which does go more in depth with the issues and offers some specifics. I don't like being told to go rate the video with a five like I'm some kind of sheep - albeit a sheep with an environmental consciousness.

  • By the United Nation's figures, tree growth is out-stripping tree cutting by 37%. Since 1920, U.S.A. forests GREW by millions of acres. Greenpeace is a sham institution that spends more on advertising for more money than they do on the "causes" they profess commitment to. I hate enviro-nazi's using scare tactics. Blowing my nose will ruin the world??!! Please! Who's pipe dream was this? It's time to start using our heads when confronted w/ this crap & see it for exactly what it is, CRAP.

  • so i assume you've worked with greenpeace then? how can you really be sure of "tactics" that they use? are you aware that they are highly educated professionals (you MUST have a degree to work there)? and what the public sees (protests) isnt just what they do. maybe some reading should be done on your part to find out what organizations stand for before assuming its a scare tactic. oh, and its ok if you blow your nose, we wont get mad.

  • pretty cool concept to be used!!

  • I wonder if kleenex can be made with more easily renewable sources, like say... Hemp? Or other such quickly growing sources of fibers?

As a society, we need to learn that we don't need to use trees for hardly anything anymore. There are plenty of alternatives, which we can grow faster, and replaced easier... And which the planet/ecosystem isn't so dependent on.

Nature needs Trees far more than we do, and trees take far too long to grow!

  • Yeah, rather use oil. Or diamonds. Or child skin.

  • Propaganda. Plan and simple. Do you guys realize most of that comes from tree farms? And they are re-planted.

  • so when did you visit these tree farms? or do you just assume that cuz thats where other companies get their trees? a long time ago kleenex brand used to advertise that they used "100% virgin fiber". meaning from ancient forests which cant be replanted.

  • The needs for cutting down woods for any use become inefficient to the future when we all die because we can't either breath or farm due to pollution and soil erosion

  • Citation Needed

  • dude come on... kleenex? is that all you can come up with? they do use tree farms for their kleenex products too... honestly if greenpeace is goin after kleenex instead of important things like alternative energies and fuels, i think were fucked

  • 99% of tissue paper is recycled

  • But the trees come from sustainable forests...Tree farms if you will.

There's no real damage being done unless you think trees have feelings.

  • damn shame

  • total bullshit... why are you going after simple facial tissue? have you seen your local super market? have you seen what your average local newspaper or national magazine uses in paper?

don't cut down trees to blow your nose...

but cardboard and 1x2's are OK to protest with...

Ever seen a tree-hugger with a sign or banner that wasn't made of paper or wood?

stfu about kleenex and go try to make a real change...

  • Ill respect greenpeace when they give money to hard working scientists who are actually doing the research. Not the half assed bought and paid for political whores who happen to happen to have a pHd and then go around calling themselves "scientists". Science is about facts and sometimes you are wrong. Greenpeace can never admit that and all they care about is their political agenda not actual science.

  • I guess we just all need to start carrying a dirty snot rag around to blow our noses on? And our asses? Only if GreenPeace will wash mine for me.

Suppose they have permission to use Disney characters to promote their causes? Oh Mickey!!! Can we sue?

  • I second that. Trees aren't going anywhere. In fact there are more trees now than when Columbus arrived in the new world. We humans plant trees everywhere we go because they are so bloody useful. You can count on them not going extinct because they are an important economic resource.

  • This is why I use a handkerchief. So I don't hear about the bitching.

  • More hippie horseshit. Either they know it's nonsense, in which case they're liars, or they don't know it's horseshit, in which case they're not smart enough to check their fucking facts, facts which their whole organization is built on. Either way, Greenpeace fails again. FUCK GREENPEACE.

  • grennpeace etc. are stupid and dont look at the facts. they are hippie loser retards. PEN AND TELLER BITCH!

  • wow worst song ever. not even catchy. and it didnt even flow..

  • So let me get this right. We should nor eat or wear animals. We should not use animals for anything. We should not burn fossil fuels. We should not cut down trees. We should give everything to 3 world nations. We should be come more like europe. And also give everything back to the Indians. Did I get all that right?

  • nope.

  • Is there more?

  • Geeze, imagine what happens when you wipe your ....

  • If they didn't regrow trees, they would eventually run out of supplies.

  • This video is bullshit. The vast majority of all trees harvested for paper products are all from tree farms. Get that? We grow trees to make paper. And we have room to grow plenty of them on long term rotational plots. Such plots work to remove C02 from the air, along with providing soil erosion protection.

Tree farms along with reforestation projects have done wonders for the environment.

  • You must not live in Northern California, where I live, where PalCo--Pacific Lumber Company--is the world's largest supplier of trees. They have cut down hundreds of thousands of old-growth trees, 1000 years old and older, and are only now recently not being allowed to.

And you do understand, your comment is contradictory right? If you grow trees on a farm, you obviously harvest them at their peak so how are they doing anything to remove C02 and other greenhouse gases? You're just another sheep

  • Set aside your opinions for a moment and just look at the premise: Suppose KC is using 90% tree farm and 10% virgin forest for their snot rags ... that 10% was a forest that had never been clear-cut before. Once destroyed, you can never "replace" it with a tree farm (tree farms are *nothing* like a natural forest [yes they both have trees, but that's where the similarities end]).

Lots of hate on this board. Lots of heads in the sand. Little educated discussion.

  • This vid is ridiculous and misleading. Kleenex, like all paper products, comes from TREE FARMS. Because of tree farms there are MORE trees in the US now than there were in 1900. When they cut down a tree they plant like 3 more in it's place. They are smart businessmen.

I hate this shit. I love environmental conservation, but this is not the place for it. How about conserving oil? How about conserving the ACTUAL rainforest? How about conserving things that MATTER?

  • Why don't you start with conserving the world's oldest trees? The Redwoods, sequoia sempervirons & seqouia giganticus. They still cut down 500 and 600 year old trees regularly here in Northern California. Look up on PalCo.

  • 2 things with your comment.

1: Why do I have to conserve the worlds oldest trees? Why don't YOU conserve the world's oldest trees?

2: They don't cut down redwood trees to make kleenex or any paper product. They are prized for their lumber. It's like mining gold so you can paint it black and shit on it.

Bonus: I read your other post, quick tip; in order to not sound like a total douchebag, don't call people "sheep". That's what 9/11 troofers and Ron Paul supporters do, both are delusional.

  • Firstly, you is a generalization.

Secondly, I wasn't just referring to Kleenex. I could give shit less about the video or Greenpeace. I am talking about reality.

Bonusly, shut the fuck up and keep being spoon-fed.

  • So when's The Walt Disney Company going to sue Greenpeace for using Wall-e?

  • Maybe you should understand the term "fair use" and review copyright policy. The most direct obvious reason = parody.

  • Yeah... maybe YOU should. You don't seem to know what "fair use" is nor copyright policy. If you were to claim parody... I don't see it. Wall-E is only in 2 seconds of the video.

  • Man. You need to start getting a basic education before you attempt at trying to debate--especially if you're going to try and debate facts, that's only for the intellectuals, not pups.

  • I'm sorry, is this a debate? You haven't presented a counter argument, so I can only assume you're just shooting your mouth off without any knowledge to back it up. Please, tell me how Wall-E appearing in this ad "parodys" Wall-E and how they are legally in the right. Go on. I'm waiting.

  • What the fuck is this Greenpeace propaganda?

  • um, I would like to call bullshit on this...

    honestly, how stupid are we?

  • What a crock of shit. These large tissue manufacturers grow forests just for the purpose of cutting down to make these products. I also know for a fact that SCA have a policy that ensures 3 trees are planted for every one cut down. The people that make videos and statements like this are uniformed. Do your research before you look like a fool infront of the world.

  • You should try doing some research. Read up on PalCo--Pacific Lumber Company.

  • Seriously? I guess you are right. I bet it would be much better if we could find a way to use eagle feathers and knit them into reusable handkerchiefs. But that would be a problem because it is not like eagles grow on trees... Maybe we could use something else that is plentiful and reusable -- OH -- I GOT IT! Let's use trees!

  • good vid, but greenpeace is still bullshit.

  • what a bunch of hippies. it only takes ONE large tree to build a small house. and besides. they replant wen they're done.

  • Um, they have tree FARMS. Trees grow back.

That was stupid and not even entertaining

  • what do you do if you have allergies?

    use that recycled sandpaper?

  • Wait.....What was that.

    Why was Wall*E there?

    ...and the song!

This makes me care less for the endangered forests to be honest.

    that was just lame.

  • That video is ridiculous.

  • Trees are grown for the purpose of fucking cutting down. Penn and Teller bitch do you watch it?

  • gota agree wit the truth. thumbs up.

  • haha i love it!

  • AMAZING!

  • Reminds me of the Dr. Seuss story.

The Lorax was the best movie ever :)

Look it up here on youtube if you haven't seen it.

  • trees go down when you blow your snotty nose...

this situation has to be stopped.people need to know what is the truth behind this companies that are accelerating the destruction of the planet.support greenpeace, become a local activist and let people know what is going on.

this is a clever campaign that need more support so do your part and tell everyone about it!

  • Greenpeace rocks

  • It really makes me think!

  • We're wiping our rears with the future of our planet! How incredibly stupid and greedy.

  • I agree completely!!!!

  • this is brilliant! the world needs to know of kleenex's destruction of our worlds forests! go Wall*E go!!

  • Companies like this need to be stopped. There is no need to destroy our rainforests when recycled paper can be used or by using tree farms. Our planet is being destroyed and some people are doing very little about it. In a lot of cases this is because people aren't well enough informed. Lets hope that many people see this video.

  • Kudos for making such a terrific video. And Kimberly Clark- shame on you!!! There is NO EXCUSE for such reckless destruction of the environment. How do you people sleep at night??

  • By putting and closing our eyes. ¬_¬

  • I wonder why they don't use recycled paper, either. My family and many friends prefer to use one with lotion. They are softer than regular one. If they sell recycled paper containing lotion, I want to try that out!

  • its sad how true this is

    GO WALLE

    USE RECYCLED PAPER
