this is not one of her best routines... but im still amazed with the fact that she managed to control the ribbon without stepping into it or getting caught up by it... specially in 0:57
@guiy16 So you are closed friends and she gave you a call to tell you this... Look, I do not think rhythmic gymnasts have these negative feelings against each other. I mean, they all want to win and might be disspointed if they do not. But I think she was actually crying because her coach most likely yelled at her. You all know Viner and she is very demanding with her gymnasts.
I am just not a fan of rhythmics...I see how hard they work in practice and even the best gymnasts like this one struggle and while watching you just bite your fingers hoping they don't mess up instead of enjoying the beauty of the sport
And Irina Viner never sent top gymnasts once again to Corbeil... I don't know how she can be so blind beeing such a good coach!! I mean, she has wonderful gymnasts (like Kanaeva, Tchachina...) but she prefers her Kapra-robots. Sessina didn't have event a payed seat in Beijing!! And that's not going to finish, because she already put her eye on Merkulova. So sad.
because she performed really original elements back in 1998, and created a new style of gymnastics, with more technical difficulties and less music interpretation. The problem is that she didn't improve since 2000, and now we have been watching kabaeva's elements during 10 years... Besides, with the combinations code of points, she didn't pay any attention to music interpretation, so the rg world started to lack artistry. Nowadays gymnastics is very different because Alina and Viner's gymnasts
I'm not sure but this routine kinna shows that shes finished you know what i mean? like shes saying i won the 2004 OG i've finished. Not saying that i don't love alina or any thing i think shes amazing shes a legend and she changed the world of rg so much with out her i don't think the world of rg would be the same now if she wasn't there every step of the way!
she sort of failed

even when she made a mistake it was still amazing the best part was when she chucked it up in the air and caught it gracefully

If i'm not mistaken she used this song once in a hoop routine..
by the way, the one i saw was disasterous
But i still love her..she was a legend in the sport

The mistake at the beginning is actually pretty funny. :D Does anyone know the name of the music? I know it's something Spanish, but I can't find it.
