Those of you comparing Kingdom of amular with skyrim are quite ignorant. The two games focus on two different aspects of the RPG genre. It's like comparing a gram cracker to a salted cracker....anyways I didn't care for skyrim myself but I'm not going to bash on it, it's a well thought out and constructed game, but not what I like. Koa was brilliant. 9/10

i'am a Dokkalfar,but i started out as a Rogue/Archery build. I figured it was weak for beginners,so i changed to Battlemage. I love how uniquely different this RPG game can be. Unlike DA,and many RPG intros. You're not stuck with one Class from the beginning. Instead,you're a Mixture of all Classes. You can be Mage/rogue , Warrior/Mage,Warrior/Rogue. One of the reasons to try this bad boy out
@DiViNiTY1337 The thumbsdown about Skyrim is the Meele combat system and each time u Level,u only gain 1 attribute point,(which sucks as u can only invest 1 perk for the varieties of skill trees). In this Case,you're so focused on investing points into morphing your Character to a specific class. Skyrim only has its diversity and exploration. KOA R ,u are the Jack of all Trades ^^.
@901snx Basically,you're primarily not tied down by disadvantages. The game creator's was inspired by Fable and wanted a "Jack of all Trades" idea while creating this game. This game has flawless oppertunites for improvment,the lore itself is quite fascinating but its Diversity and Skyrim is on different scales. Each time u level in Skyrim,u Can only ADD ONE ATTRIUBUTE POINTS to each Tree, It SUX alot. The repeative 100+ over dungeons filled with traps gets tedious and predictable. Puzzle=Ok

This game has "budget title" written all over it. I played the demo, and it was alright, but I really can't see the game reaching any large degree of success.
Any game that allows me to throw a Lance of Longinus into somethings face is a must play to me im so playing this game it will hold me over until the glory that is ME3
Destinies seem very narrow and useless oh. It basically feels like you get thrown a couple a passives maybe a different roll animation and that's that. I know it was just a demo that was old but how was the combat innovative at all it felt like a button mash with the occasional swap over to you second weapon which didn't even flow since it would restart the attack combo.
@zombiedeathkill no, this isn't even close, I'm sorry. But its nothing close. This lacks well, multiplayer. It lacks raids and pvp, which are what really make the game. It can't be a console version of something, if it doesn't have something that is like(surpassing or being worse) then the thing it's "a version of"
i really don't see the hype about this game. just a different story with the same stuff we've all seen before. if IGN wasn't covering it i doubt anyone would care as there are better games out there in the genre. and if the game is actually good, the demo certainly does not do it any justice, a simple meh at best. i only played it to get gear in ME3.

I call it manual as u can do your timing how long you would want to hold your block, where you want to aim your arrow etc. the combat system above feels a lil too typical, im not trying to offend but to me it feels like i've been playing with the almost same combat over and over again, a few click and u keep hitting casting skills etc. in the end of day, its up to a person's preferences.

Skyrim is epic to me and this game's demo gave me the same idea that it'll be awasome.Comparing is stupid since it is, at days end, your money that you spend to buy your fav game. Skyrim is a game for everyone. It's one of the best games to ever exist. It deserved the hype that the elderscrolls series and western rgps in general should have gotten a long time ago

i played the demo, and found the whole interface to be too cartoony, and the actual game to look like the fable series, which isnt bad at all, but the childish interface is annoying
People shouldn't compare this to Skyrim, the feel is totally different -- very cartoony and overall the fantasy realm feels different, kinda like a single player mmo with deeper stuff in it.
The combat is amazing and I love the mechanics. I was waiting for this kind of game for years, and finally I'll soon be able to buy it! :3

This game looks good and will play good but don't know how much modding can be done on this (I love modding).
Yeah I like the Tales series. Played Eternia, Vesperia and the World Radiant Mythology series. Enjoyed all of them, but I liked Vesperia most, mainly due to combat and no random encounters which persisted in Eternia.
Although it wasn't the open world experience I am looking for, I enjoyed the games, and Yuri, Rita and Raven are my favourite characters. ;]

One thing they need to add in this game is the ability to choose your targets when using the bow.
Seriously, I was being attacked by wolves, so I got out the bow and it aimed at a deer T_T

Skyrim is epic to me and this game's demo gave me the same idea that it'll be awasome.Comparing is stupid since it is, at days end, your money that you spend to buy your fav game. So I don't see how comparing would do anything, be it filling up your pocket OR suddenly getting this game for free. :D I say, enjoy both games. I love skyrim and this demo did it for Amalur too.

People shouldn't compare this to Skyrim, the feel is totally different -- very cartoony and overall the fantasy realm feels different, kinda like a single player mmo with deeper stuff in it.
The combat is amazing and I love the mechanics. I was waiting for this kind of game for years, and finally I'll soon be able to buy it! :3
Just wish Japan would do something like this cause, well, I love anime - but hey! It's cool.

U aren't suppose to compare both of them to begin with since both of them may be RPG but they look and play very differently. I must say though, SKyrim is badass (especially w/ modding). This game looks good and will play good but don't know how much modding can be done on this (I love modding).

Yeah I like the Tales series. Played Eternia, Vesperia and the World Radiant Mythology series. Enjoyed all of them, but I liked Vesperia most, mainly due to combat and no random encounters which persisted in Eternia.
Although it wasn't the open world experience I am looking for, I enjoyed the games, and Yuri, Rita and Raven are my favourite characters. ;]
