  • you are retarded and so is this video. Go read a book.

  • Wikipedia allows anyone to input data, its unreliable. Ive been watching this technology develop for about two years, thats exactly how it is done, you twat! I apologize about saying they were blu-ray disks exculsively, this process can be done to any digital disk.

  • about the 200gb blu ray disks, thats done with genetically altered bacteria that store energy. as far as I know they can be put on any disk. The problem is getting a thin enough laser to read it.

  • in the beginning of the computer age computer Cold store 1-5GB ?

my first computer had a 60MB Hard drive ;)

and the floppys can store 1.44MB

  • i think blu ray is the best btween dvd and had dvd,

  • I believe the cd came out when there were 500MB drives. NOT AFTER 500GB

  • Yeah, good luck backing up a 2 gig computer with floppy disks... see you after a week and 50 fuckin' disks.

  • it´s realy 1423 disks ;)

  • blu-rays limit in theory can go as high as 100GB

  • no they cant!!! they can go upto 200Gb limit! TESTED. If Dual sided that is 400GB limit. Get your facts straight!!!

  • those are only experimental Blu-ray Disc so i dident count them. The theoretically limit of a blu-ray disk is about a 100Gb (which is the Dual layer capacity)

  • ok, fair enough...but look at the TDK site...cool

  • no it actually can go to 200 gb

  • they can go up to 200gb

  • lies blu rays max is 50 gigs. and there is no such thing as a super layered disc

  • TDK

  • yes there is, it will come out in a few years.

  • yes, their is a 200 gb disc, it will come out in a few years

  • man you are one big fat lier

  • humm blu-ray is cool but some companys have allredy stoped making blu-ray burners that just says it all

  • Target has stopped carrying HD-DVD for the Christmas season: that says it all.

  • if u copy this message, ur gay. so dont.

  • true

  • So What everyone thinks, Blu-Ray does hold more storage once everyone sees that PS3 and Blu-Ray Players with the Blu-Ray disc 25GB 50GB is better than HD-DVD 25GB especially when everyone is backing up Blu-Ray making more DISC, Burners, Players. And I just read in three years they will stop making DVDs.

  • i agree retarded, 1- 5 gigs on those old bad boys, i dont think so my 486 would strugle for that

  • Heres the thing about Blu-ray, it gives you the same High-Def Quality as HD DVD, but the Sony PS3 has Blu-ray built in it for you, so u save alot of money on Blu-ray bu buying a PS3, where as the xbox 360 HD DVD drive, u have to buy extra, its not included with the xbox 360 system.

  • Well, after doing 2 quick searches on eBay I find that the PS3 costs about $400 (used) while if you're gonna buy a 360, I found an auction with a Premium 360, 2 controllers, steering wheel, 5 X360 games, 3 Xbox games, 2 HDD movies and a HD Drive for only $150.

So I'd say going HD on a 360 is actually MUCH cheaper than with for the PS3. + the 360 has games worth playing, unlike the PS3.

  • his is a true thing that happens! its not a chain letter! its kinda scary at first but it really works!! paste this message into 3 comments and press ALT F4 and your crushes name will appear on the screen!!! its soo wierd

  • So DVDs never existed and backups were never made on tapes, great.

Beside of that 1 floppy = 1.4 MB, that's 0.0013671875 GB, and it is enough to store thousands of text pages, using microsoft word, open office, latex, whatever.

  • omg what a load of crap. all the drm in the sony(rootkit) blu-ray means once you backup you cant access it ever again. no companies will use this format ever "tape ftw"

  • Hyper Ghey!

..so the cd-rom was invented after 350-400 gigabyte drives were invented? just like 1-5gb on a few floppies...

    Who is this jerk?

Someone trying to get paid from promo material from Sony?

  • wait... so the CD-ROM was invented AFTER the Pentium 4 processor?

  • 1 to 5 gigs using floppies... you must be retarded.
