how long does it take for you to upload your videos to youtube from the Vado HD for a certain file size? My Vado takes a really long time to upload to the internet. Is this normal? What do you recommend so that my upload time would be faster? Does my computer specifications matter or is it all dependent on my internet connection speed?

I would go for the Sony Webbie! they only are $85 do still photos comes with great software and has a lens that can rotate so the camera can be put flat on a hat!

I have a brother who owns this device and when I watched his videos on youtube, it seems that I can barely hear the video although my speaker is at 100% and the volume for the video is all the way up. However when I play the same video again but this time I used my headphones, I can hear it loud and clear. Might want to check on that..

You haven't covered the most crucial two things: battery life duration and memory. Yes, I know,you said there's 8GB. But is it on board memory? is there an expansion option? Also, how long can you CONTINUOUSLY record? For example, I have a cam that they also claimed can record 2 hours. But in fact it can only record 30 min clips. That is, for a 2 hour occasion you ll have to record 4 separate clips!

You really ought to add a clip taken with the camera in the review. That way, we'd know about the horrible audio quality, which is what kills this camera. I mean, you want to interview someone and it sounds like garbage. This is fine for just taking videos, but you're better off buying a Lumix ZS1 and using its HD video capability.

Want to get REAL CLOSE with VADO HD? Buy a set of close up filters 37mm, just hold them in front while you shoot...you can get about 5 inches away from subject.

I got my Insignia HD 720p for $89.99 from BestBuy (about $94 or so with tax) and it has macro, portrait, stills, 3 inch display, and expandable memory (up to 32GB), and 8x digital zoom :)

but i do like how it comes with the wide angle lens...I'm getting a wide angles lens for review in about 2-3 weeks (shipping takes soooo long!)

vado, kodak zi6 is a brick! both great cameras, the zi6 has a bigger screen, but the vado has a wideangle lens

kodak isnt as good as the vado. the quality of the vado is better plus the sound quality. I did research on all pocket size cam. trust me.
