@JonMcAlpin its very tough to tell though as far as the body goes its possible that its a charvel neck bolted onto a dean ml body... i haven't seen a charvel that has body like that one i know they made the star style which looks more like the gus g signature that esp makes now which is similar but one of the points is shorter i'm sure the neck specs are about the same as an ml though... its either a dean with a charvel neck or some kind of charvel body style that i haven't seen before

@naaate89 i know that dean ml's used to come with a different neck contour than they do now they used to have a very round back with more of a baseball bat feel to it thats a lot different than all the dime signatures that they make now so it is likely that he would switch the neck being an older dean... jackson has always made very flat/fast necks

Jesus, for the damned record. Dime's original guitars were made by Washburn. All Washburn MLs. Not custom, it was an original model made by Washburn in the late 80s and up through the first year or so of 2000.

Dean got the rights to the ML shape since Washburn, for whatever reason, decided to stop making the guitars.

Also, for the record, Dime NEVER. EVER. used the fucking Dimebucker. He used a Bill Lawrence 500XL or L500, or something like that. Not the Dimebucker.

Dimebag was a major endorser of Dean Guitars since the 1980s. Dimebag used Dean Guitars from the early days with Pantera.

When Dean Guitars went out of business he signed a 10 year contract with Washburn from 1994 to 2004. In late 2004 he switched back to Dean guitars who were back in business. Several months before his death, Darrell ended his long relationship with Washburn. Dean built him a brand new signature guitar; the Dime O' Flame, which he began using live.
