Love your videos! But just an heads up, those aren't really par lights, they are open face lights (even though they do have parabolic reflectors...but really every tungsten/HMI hard light has a parabolic reflector) Pars usually have a lens on them. Keep makin them awesome videos!

@AlfavetStudio 7D and the 5D have pretty much the same video function. The photography function is definately better on the 7D. More pictures per second etc. But, if you are shooting video...and no pictures, get the 5D and spend more money on lenses,

A clothes pin is called a C-47, because when Orson Wells was shooting Citizen Kane, he asked the producers to buy $600 worth. They said no, find something else. So he went into some catalog, and found the nomenclature for clothes pins, which is C-47. So he went back to the producers and ordered those. No one on set wants to look like they don't know something, so they said "Of course, rock on Orson!" (Maybe that's not verbatim).

Wells forbid the crew from using the term clothes pins from then on

I was actually able to pull off the scorsese shot using my 10 dollar tripod and a small ping pong table. the tripod is a piece of crap, but it has the ability to tilt all the way down which kinda surprises me

@texabyte Nope. They are "Open Face PAR lights". They are PAR lights (Parabolic Aluminized Reflector). The PAR portion of the name is referring to the reflective material in the back of the lamp. "Open face" is just referring to the fact that there is no lens (like a fresnel lens) at the front of the light.
